Some standard content:

GB/T5155—2003
This standard is a revision of GB/T5155—1985 "Hot Extruded Magnesium Alloy Rods". This standard is prepared with reference to the American ASTMB107-2002 "Magnesium Alloy Extruded Rods, Profiles, Tubes and Wires" and other standards. Compared with GB/T5155-1985, this standard has the following changes: New grades and state codes are adopted.
- The D-level dimensional deviation in the original standard is deleted. High-precision and ultra-high-precision grades for bar bending are added. - The mechanical properties are in the International System of Units. This standard replaces GB/T5155-1985 from the date of implementation. Appendix A and Appendix B of this standard are informative appendices. This standard is proposed by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Nonferrous Metals. The drafting unit of this standard: Northeast Light Alloy Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are Qin Liyan, Wang Guojun, Liu Weizhou, Wang Yugang, Wu Xinfeng and Hou Xianzhi. This standard is interpreted by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Nonferrous Metals. The previous versions of the standards replaced by this standard are: -GB/T5155-1985.

After trimming, use sandpaper to polish. Cracks are not allowed to be polished. 3.6.2 The surface of the bar is not allowed to have defects such as bruises, bumps, pits, bubbles, pores, abrasions and scratches that affect user use. The depth of the defect shall not exceed the allowable negative deviation of the diameter. For bars with a diameter less than 160.00mm, the depth of the extrusion mark shall not exceed 0.1mm. 5.5.1 When the chemical composition is unqualified, the melting (or batch) is judged to be unqualified. When the size and surface quality are unqualified, it is considered a single piece unqualified. 5.5.2 If any one of the mechanical properties is unqualified, double the number of samples (including the unqualified ones themselves) must be taken from the batch (furnace) for re-inspection. If the re-inspection result is unqualified, the batch will be scrapped, or the supplier will check each bar one by one, and the qualified ones will be delivered. 5.5.3 For bars that are unqualified due to tail shrinkage, coarse grain rings, and stratification in the macrostructure, it is allowed to cut off a certain length of the unqualified bars and re-inspect until they are qualified. The remaining bars are either inspected one by one and delivered if they are qualified, or they are cut off according to the maximum tail length of the bars that have been re-inspected to be qualified and then delivered. When other defects occur, the batch of bars will be handled by negotiation between the supply and demand parties. 6 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage
