GB/T12459-2005 This standard modifies and adopts ASMEB16.9:2001α "Forged steel butt-welding pipe fittings manufactured in factories", combined with domestic manufacturing conditions, and is reduced based on the original standard. The main differences and similarities between this standard and ASMEB16.9:2001 are as follows: the type (seamless), size (DN800 and below) and technical requirements are basically the same as ASMEB16.9. The abbreviation format is different. 1. On the basis of the original standard, the dimensions of the welded ends of pipe fittings commonly used in my country to connect with "metric pipes", namely the "Ⅱ series" dimensions, are added; 2. The decimal places of the "outer diameter at the groove" of a particular specification are slightly different from those of ASMEB16.9, for example, the outer diameter at the groove of DV20 pipe fittings: ASME B16.9 is 26.7 mm, and this standard is deduced to be 26.9 mm. 3. The technical contents such as symbols and codes, materials, manufacturing and heat treatment, inspection, protection and packaging, and product quality certificates of pipe fittings are added. Compared with GB/T12459 1990, the main changes of this standard are as follows: -Added the symbol description of pipe fittings; -According to ASMEB16.9, the size of flanged short section for flange connection is added: the size range is expanded from the original DN 15 ~~DN 500 to DN 15 ~DN 800. Among them, the size of long radius elbow, tee, cross, pipe cap and reducer is expanded from DN 15 ~ DN 500 to DN 15 ~ DN 800, and the size of other pipe fittings is expanded from DN 15-DN 500 to DNV 15 ~ DN 600. The material and manufacturing process requirements are added, the design verification requirements are supplemented, and the technical contents such as wide inspection are modified. The appendix A and appendix B of this standard are both informative appendices. This standard is proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation. The size of the fittings shall comply with the provisions of Figures 1 to 10 and Tables 3 to 12: The outer diameter of the end of the fitting is in two series, I and II, and the "series is the international general series. The wall thickness classification table of seamless steel pipes connected to the T series fittings is listed in Appendix B. 4.1.2 In order to facilitate international trade, the imperial size table of T series fittings is listed in Appendix A. CB/T12459—2005 4.1.3 Since the metric unit and the imperial unit cannot be exactly equivalent, the user must use the two unit systems respectively. For fittings with metric units, the nominal size is expressed by DN; for fittings with imperial units, the nominal size is expressed by NPS; the relationship between the two is shown in Table 2. Therefore, when ordering, the purchaser must specify whether it is a long or short flanged nipple (see Table 10 Note 2). 4.3 Tolerance The dimensional deviation and geometric tolerance of pipe fittings shall comply with the provisions of Table 13 and Figure 11.
