GB/T325—200U, GB/T13040—1990 and GB19433.12004 The terms and definitions established in this standard apply to this standard. 4 Requirements
4.1 Open steel drums are generally used for packaging of dangerous goods calcium carbide. 4.2 Steel drums for packaging of dangerous goods calcium carbide shall meet the following requirements 4.2.1 The drum body and drum cover shall be made of steel plates of appropriate type and sufficient thickness according to the weight and purpose of the steel drum. 4.2.2 The joints shall be welded.
4.2.3 The flange of the drum shall be mechanically joined or welded + separate reinforcements may also be used. 4.2.4 The body of a steel drum with a capacity of more than 60L should usually have at least two expansion roll hoops, or at least two separate roll hoops. If separate roll hoops are used, they should be fixed tightly on the body and must not be displaced. Roll hoops should not be spot welded. 4.2.5 The design and installation of the opening closure devices of the body and the drum cover should be so designed and installed that they remain firm and the contents do not leak under normal transportation conditions. The flange of the closure device should be properly joined by mechanical means or welding methods, and gaskets or other sealing elastics should be used unless the closure device itself is leaky.
4.2.6 If the materials used for the drum body, drum cover, closure device and connectors are incompatible with the substances being transported, appropriate internal protective coatings or treatment layers should be applied. Under normal transportation conditions, these coatings and treatment layers always maintain their protective properties. 4.3 The oil and paint used for calcium carbide packaging steel plugs should have strong adhesion and good weatherability, and the paint film adhesion should meet the Class 2 requirements specified in A2 of GB/T325-2000.
4.4 The performance test requirements for calcium carbide packaging steel drums are shown in Table 1. ww.bzsosocomGB 19453.1-2004

5 Tests
5.1 Test items
The test items are shown in Table 2.
5.2 Number of samples
The sample does not break, collapse, or leak
After the sample falls, it does not leak when the internal and external pressures reach equilibrium. For containers with internal coating (plating) layers, the coating (plating) layer shall not have cracks, and the sample shall not leak.
5.2.1 Sample quantity for different test items See Table 2. Table 2 Test items and sampling quantity

Sampling quantity
5.2.2 Without affecting the test results, it is allowed to reduce the sampling quantity and conduct multiple tests on one sample at the same time. 5.3 Preparation of test samples
5.3.1 Contents
The contents of a single piece
sample shall not be less than 95% of its capacity. The contents can be replaced by materials with physical properties (such as mass and particle size) comparable to those of the simulated contents.
5.3.2 Preparation of airtight test samples
Drill holes in the sides of the packaging container and connect the water inlet pipe and exhaust pipe, or connect the air inlet pipe. For the closure with exhaust holes, it should be replaced with an airtight closure or the exhaust holes should be covered.
5.3.3 Structural dimensions and appearance
Inspection by quantity and traceability method.
5.3.4 Drop test
5.3.4.1 Test equipment
Comply with the requirements of Chapter 2 Test equipment in GB/T4857.52000, 5.3.4.2 Test method
The drop test method shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of Article 5.1.2 of GB 19433.2-2004, 5.3.4.3 The drop coefficient is 1.2m.
5.3.5 Airtight test
5.3.5.1 Test equipment and method
According to the requirements of GB/T17344-1998.
5.3.5.2 The test pressure is 20kPa.
5.3.6 Stacking test
5.3.6.1 Test equipment
According to the requirements of GB/T4857.3-2000,
5.3.6.2 Test method
com The stacking time of packaging containers is 24h. Other test methods are in accordance with the requirements of GB/T4857.3-2000. 5.3.6.3 Stacking load is shown in formula (1):
Where:
p—the load added, in dry grams (kg);K—deterioration coefficient, K value is 1;
H—stacking height, in meters (not less than m);h—the height of a single package, in meters (m);m—the gross weight of a single package, in kilograms (k). 6 Inspection rules
GB 19453.1—-2004
The manufacturer shall ensure that the calcium carbide packaging steel drums produced shall comply with the provisions of this standard and shall be inspected by the relevant inspection departments in accordance with this standard. The user has the right to request acceptance inspection for the received products in accordance with the provisions of this standard. 6.1 Inspection items
Inspection shall be carried out item by item in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 of this standard. 6.2 Inspection conditions
Performance inspection shall be carried out for calcium carbide packaging steel drums in any of the following situations: when new products are put into production or old products are converted;
After formal production, if there are major changes in structure, materials, and processes that may affect product performance, in normal production, once every six months;
When the product is resumed after a long period of suspension; When there is a significant difference between the factory inspection results and the last performance inspection results, the national quality supervision agency shall propose performance inspection. 6.3 Judgment Rules
Inspect item by item according to the requirements of the standard. If one sample fails in each item, the item is judged to be unqualified. If there are ·-items that fail, the batch of products is judged to be unqualified.
6.4 Disposal of unqualified batches
After the unqualified batches of calcium carbide packaging steel drums are removed, they will be submitted for inspection again, and the strictness remains unchanged.
