Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China SY 6014-94 Safety Regulations for Petroleum Geology Laboratories 1995-01-18 Issued China National Petroleum Corporation 1995-07-01 Implementation 1 Subject Content and Scope of Application Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Safety Regulations for Petroleum Geology Laboratories This standard specifies the safety management requirements and measures for petroleum geology laboratory experiments. This standard applies to the safety management of petroleum geology laboratories. 2 Reference Standards GB4792 Basic Standard for Radiation Health Prevention and Expansion GB4281 Petrochemical Water Pollutant Emission Standard GB 3864T Industrial Gaseous Nitrogen 3 Personnel Safety Protection 3.1 Work clothes must be worn when entering the laboratory 3.2 When preparing samples, operators must wear masks and protective glasses. 3.3 When operating acids and alkalis, you must wear rubber gloves, protective glasses, and acid-resistant clothing. 3.4 Personnel engaged in the operation of toxic and hazardous substances must undergo regular retrograde special physical examinations: health care fees are paid monthly. SY 601494 3.5 Personnel engaged in X-ray diffraction, cathode luminescence, fluorescence analysis, testing, identification and experiments should abide by the relevant provisions of GB4792. 4 Analysis and experimental operation Flammable: When heating volatile organic solvents: they must be heated slowly in a water bath or on a hot plate. It is forbidden to add flammable substances and organic solvents directly with flames or electric furnaces. They must not be placed near electric furnaces, alcohol lamps and other fire sources. 4.3 It is strictly forbidden to grind oxidants with combustibles. 4.4 Mercury leakage should be collected as soon as possible, and then treated with sulfur powder at the residue. 4.5 Chemical reactions that produce harmful gases or irritating substances must be carried out in a fume hood. 4.6 When absorbing acid, alkali and harmful solutions, ear suction bulbs must be used. 4.7 Corrosive and flammable items cannot be baked in the oven. 4.8 Toxic solvents and waste liquids, acid, alkali and other corrosive solutions cannot be poured into sinks and other outdoor places. The relevant provisions of GB4281 should be followed. 5 Chemical reagentswwW.bzxz.Net 5.1 Chemical reagents must be labeled and classified according to dangerous and non-dangerous, and kept by a dedicated person: 5.2 There must be a storage and use system for highly toxic drugs and heavy items, and a special counter with two locks must be set up for storage. Two people must keep them, and they must be strictly registered and accurately weighed when used. 5.3 Chemical reagents must be stored in a cool, ventilated place, and pay attention to fire prevention, moisture prevention and sunlight prevention. 5.4 After the use of deliquescent and weathering reagents, except for individual reagents that can be placed in a dryer, they should be immediately sealed with or sealing wax. 5.5 Corrosive solutions cannot be placed in the instrument room and must be stored in a special place. Concentrated nitrogen water cannot be stored together with acids. China National Petroleum and Natural Gas Corporation approved on January 18, 1995, implemented on July 1, 1995 SY6014-94 5.6 Warehouses for medicines and reagents must meet the requirements of fire prevention, explosion prevention, moisture prevention, shock prevention, and wind prevention. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the warehouse. 5.7 Radioactive drugs and standard sources should be stored in the lead room. 6 Pressure vessels 6.1 Check whether flammable and explosive pressure vessels are leaking regularly, and deal with problems in time. It is strictly forbidden to rub or collide during transportation. 6.2 Flammable and explosive pressure vessels must be pressure tested regularly according to the regulations of the customs. Unqualified or expired containers cannot be used. 6.3 Various measuring instruments installed on pressure vessels must be calibrated once a year, and unqualified ones must not be used. 4 The signs of positive pressure vessels must be widely understood. Pressure vessels for special gases cannot be filled with other gases, and instruments of pressure vessels cannot be mixed. There must be no oil stains on the instruments. 6.5 The storage of pressure vessels must comply with the requirements of relevant technical regulations and must be kept away from fire and heat sources, away from experimental sites, and stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place. 6.6 When unsealing containers containing flammable and explosive liquids, it is strictly forbidden to use tools that can generate sparks or static electricity. 6.7 Oxygen cylinders and their special engineers are strictly prohibited from contacting oils, and operators are also strictly prohibited from wearing work clothes, hands, etc. stained with various greases or oils. 6.8 Various gas cylinders must be stored in categories, and hydrogen, oxygen, and acetylene cylinders are strictly prohibited from being stored together. 6.9 High-pressure gas cylinders must be kept away from fire and heat sources, and avoid exposure to the sun and strong vibration. 6.10 The distance between oxygen cylinders and combustible gas cylinders and open flames shall not be less than 101m, and the storage location shall be at least 3m away from the building. 6.11 It is strictly forbidden to mix the pressure reducing valves of high-pressure gas cylinders. 6.12 The pressure test of high-pressure gas cylinders and pressure reducing valves shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB3864.6.13 When various gas cylinders are used, the residual pressure in the cylinder shall not be less than 0.1MPa, and it is strictly forbidden to use them up. 6.14 When transporting and storing high-pressure gas cylinders. The safety cap on the gas cylinder must be tightened. 7 Water, gas, electricity, fire 7.1 Turn off the test water in time as the test process changes. 7.2 Check whether the water hose is aging regularly. 7.3 Turn off the water source in time when the water is cut off. 74 After the gas appliance is ignited, the operator is not allowed to leave the post. All gas appliances must be turned off when leaving the post. 7.5 Users must be familiar with the colors and lettering colors of various gas cylinders: it is strictly forbidden to use them if abnormalities are found. 7.6 The laboratory should meet the power distribution: power requirements, and overload power is not allowed. Meet the requirements of safety technical specifications and strictly prevent indoor leakage: the grounding wire meets the requirements of the instrument, 7.7 For equipment with a single-phase load of more than 500W and a three-phase load of more than 1000W, a fixed power socket should be used, and it is not advisable to change it at will, 7.8 The instrument must be powered off before maintenance, and obvious signs should be installed at the distribution board and relevant power sockets during the maintenance process, 7.9 Lighting and production power lines must be strictly separated, and there must be an automatic jump safety device for the power distribution. 7.10 Each laboratory should be equipped with 2~3 fire extinguishers and 10kg of fire sand. 7.11 Smoking and non-test fire are strictly prohibited in the laboratory. 7.12 Explosion-proof power switches and lighting fixtures should be used in laboratories using flammable gases: Additional instructions: This standard was proposed and managed by the China Petroleum Geological Exploration Professional Standardization Committee.
