This standard specifies the control standard for the concentration of radon and its progeny in residential air. This standard applies to public residential buildings (including underground spaces used as residential buildings). This standard does not apply to non-residential ground buildings and underground buildings. National Standard of the People's Republic of China Standards for controlling oxygen concentration in dwellings Standards for controlling oxygen concentration in dwellings 1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the control standard for oxygen concentration in the air of dwellings. The standard applies to residential buildings for public use (including underground spaces used as dwellings): This standard does not apply to non-residential ground buildings and underground buildings. 2 Reference standardsbzxz.net CB6566 Standard for radiation health protection of building materials GB0763 Standard for limiting radioactive substances in industrial waste residues used in building materials GB/T16147 Internal flask measurement of hydrogen concentration in air IEJ/T605 Specification for measurement of hydrogen and its daughters 3 Control standards GB/T16146-1995 The exposure of the public to oxygen concentration in the air from oxygen and its daughters is an additional exposure to the public from natural radiation sources. According to the controllability, the housing is divided into two categories: existing and newly built, and the corresponding control standards for oxygen and its progeny are given respectively. 3.1 For existing housing, simple remedial actions can be considered to control the exposure to hydrogen and its progeny, so that the annual average value of the equilibrium hydrogen concentration in the housing does not exceed 200 Bg·m-3. 3.2 For newly built housing, it should be controlled during design and construction so that the annual average value of the equilibrium oxygen concentration in any room does not exceed 100 Bm-3 4 Implementation of the standard 4.1 When designing and constructing new housing and taking simple remedial actions for existing housing, the selected building materials must meet the requirements of GB6566 and GB6763. 4.2 Simple remedial actions to control and reduce the radiation exposure of hydrogen and its sub-atomic elements to the public in existing residential buildings include simple and effective oxygen reduction measures such as strengthening ventilation, spraying on the indoor surfaces, and blocking the gaps in the walls. Destructive actions (reconstruction, partial demolition) for chemical houses are remedial actions that need to be carefully considered and should be guided by protection optimization. 4.3 The measurement method of nitrogen and its sub-atomic element concentration in residential buildings can adopt the method of GB/T 16117 or FJ/T 605.
