National Standard of the People's Republic of China Vocabulary in Part 18 Distributed data processing Data processing -- VocabularySection 18: Distributed data processingGB/T 5271.18 --93 This part of the vocabulary is equivalent to the international standard IS02382/18--1986 "Information processing systems-Vocabulary-Part 18: Distributed data processing". Subject content and scope of application 1.1 Subject content This vocabulary consists of two parts. This part explains the most commonly used concepts in distributed data processing. 1.2 Scope of application This vocabulary selects some terms and concise definitions of concepts in the field of data processing, and clarifies the relationship between different concepts, so as to facilitate domestic and international exchanges. The vocabulary involves all major aspects of data processing, including the main processing procedures and the types of equipment used, data representation, data description, computer programming and operation, peripheral equipment, data communication and other special applications. This standard applies to the design, production, use, maintenance, management, scientific research, teaching and publishing of various fields related to electronic computers and information processing. 2 Principles and rules to be followed The following rules have been detailed in GB5271.185 "Data Processing Vocabulary: Part 01 Basic Terms". They are also applicable to this part and will not be repeated here. Only the titles of each item are listed as follows: 2.1 Definition of terms; 2.2 Composition of terms; 2.3 Classification of terms; Term selection and definition terms; 2.5 Polysemous terms; 2.6 Contraction; 2 .7 Use of brackets; Use of square brackets: 2.9 Use of boldface terms and asterisks in definitions; 2.10 Spelling: Compilation of Sozhou tables 3 Terms and definitions 18 Distributed data processing Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on January 7, 1993 and implemented on August 1, 1993 18.01 Network topology 18.01.01 Network network CB/T 5271.18-93 A layout of nodes and interconnected branches.
