3 Test principle

4.1 Impact table
The impact table surface is a horizontal plane, which does not move or deform during the test and meets the following requirements: It is a whole object with a mass of at least 50 times the mass of the test sample; a.
It must have a large enough area to ensure that the test sample falls completely on the impact table surface; b.
The horizontal height difference between any two points on the impact table surface shall not exceed 2mmc.
When any 100mm2 area on the impact table surface is subjected to a static load of 10kg, its deformation shall not exceed 0.1mm. d.
4.2 Lifting device
The test sample should not be damaged during the lifting or lowering process. 4.3 Support device
The device supporting the test sample should be able to put the test sample in the required predetermined state before release. 4.4 Release device

5 Test procedures
5.1 Preparation of test samples

Prepare test samples in accordance with the requirements of GB/T4857.17. 5.2 Numbering of test sample parts
Number each part of the test sample in accordance with the provisions of GB/T4857.1. 5.3 Pretreatment of test samples
Select a condition to pretreat the test sample with temperature and humidity in accordance with the provisions of GB/T4857.2. 5.4 Temperature conditions during the test
The test should be carried out under the same temperature and humidity conditions as the pretreatment. If the pretreatment conditions cannot be met, the test should be carried out under temperature and humidity conditions as close to the pretreatment as possible.
5.5 Selection of test strength value
Select the test strength value according to the provisions of GB/T4857.18. 5.6 Test steps
5.6.1 Lift the test sample to the required drop height and support it in the predetermined state. The difference between the lifting height and the predetermined height shall not exceed ±2% of the predetermined height. The drop height refers to the distance between the lowest point of the test sample and the impact table when the device is released. 5.6.2 Release the test sample in the following predetermined state: a. When falling from the surface, make the maximum angle between the drop surface of the test sample and the horizontal plane not exceed 2°; b. When the edge falls, the maximum angle between the edge and the horizontal plane shall not exceed 2°, the error between the specified surface of the test sample and the impact table surface shall not exceed ±5° or 10% of the angle (whichever is larger), so that the gravity line of the test sample passes through the dropped edge: When the corner falls, the error between the specified surface of the test sample and the impact table surface shall not exceed ±5° or 10% of the angle (whichever is larger), so that the gravity line of the test sample passes through the dropped corner; d. Regardless of the state and shape of the test sample, the gravity line of the test sample shall pass through the dropped surface, line, or point. 5.6.3 The difference between the actual impact velocity and the impact velocity during free fall shall not exceed ±1% of the free fall. 5.6.4 After the test, check the damage of the packaging and contents according to relevant standards or regulations. The test report shall include the following contents:
Name, specification, model, quantity, etc. of the contents;a.
Number of test samples;
Detailed description: Name, size, structure and material specifications of the packaging container: accessories, cushioning pads, supports, fixing methods, sealing, bundling status and other protective measures;
The mass of the test sample and the mass of the contents, in kilograms;d.
Pretreatment temperature, relative humidity and pretreatment time; temperature and relative humidity of the test site;
Detailed description of the placement of the test samples during the test; the drop sequence, number of drops and drop height of the test samples, in millimeters:i
Type of equipment used for the test;
Record of the test results, and any phenomena observed during the test that are helpful for the correct interpretation of the test results; Explanation of the differences between the test method used and that promoted by this standard;m.
