National Standard of the People's Republic of China General Specification for Satellite Television Earth Receive-Only Station 1 Subject Content and Scope of Application GB/T 11442--1995 Replaces GB11442-89 This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of satellite television earth receiving stations. This standard applies to satellite television earth receiving stations in the C band with the color television system of PAL-D, and also to television earth stations compatible with communications. Professional: Its performance can meet the requirements of receiving and transmitting or collectively receiving satellite TV programs. b. Popular: Its performance can meet the requirements of directly receiving satellite TV programs. 3.2 Equipment composition Satellite TV earth receiving stations are composed of antennas and receivers. The receiver includes an outdoor unit (down converter) and an indoor unit (tuner demodulator), as shown in Figure 1. An L-band power divider can be connected between the outdoor and indoor units, which can receive multiple TV programs transmitted by the same satellite in real time.
