This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of satellite television earth receiving stations. This standard applies to satellite television earth receiving stations in the C band with the color television system of PAL-D, and also to television earth stations compatible with communications.
Satellite television earth receiving stations with other PAL color television systems or other segments with a color subcarrier frequency of 4.43MHz can be used for reference.

3 Product classification
3.1 Classification
Satellite TV earth receiving stations are divided into two categories according to technical performance: professional and popular. a. Professional: Its performance can meet the requirements of receiving and transmitting or collectively receiving satellite TV programs. b. Popular: Its performance can meet the requirements of directly receiving satellite TV programs. 3.2 Equipment composition
Satellite TV earth receiving stations are composed of antennas and receivers. The receiver includes an outdoor unit (down converter) and an indoor unit (tuner demodulator), as shown in Figure 1. An L-band power divider can be connected between the outdoor and indoor units, which can receive multiple TV programs transmitted by the same satellite in real time.
Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on April 25, 1995, 50
