This standard is proposed and registered by the China National Institute of Standardization. GB/T25321—2010
The drafting units of this standard are China National Institute of Standardization, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), China Textile Science Research Institute, China Building Materials Inspection and Certification Center, China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute, General Institute of Mechanical Science Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Yang Yuekui, Tang Fangjin, An Jingwen, Zheng Yuying, Li Jing, Wang Lizhi, Shi Xinyong, Liu Xia, Liu Hui and Ning Yan. The causes of personal injury caused by consumer products can generally be divided into three categories, namely, people, environment and consumer products themselves. Through long-term and extensive investigations, the following conclusions are drawn: It is difficult for most consumers to significantly change their usage habits in a short period of time to adapt to the use requirements of certain consumer products; it is impossible for most consumers to quickly improve their home environment to adapt to the use requirements of certain consumer products; improving consumers' knowledge level on the rational use of consumer products through education and training has limited effect in solving consumer product safety issues. Therefore, solving the problem of consumer product safety requires giving full play to the initiative of manufacturers. Compared with other organizations, manufacturers are more capable of considering human and environmental factors when designing and manufacturing consumer products, and significantly improving the safety of consumer products at a lower cost. This standard can be used alone or as a supplement to the manufacturer's quality management system, prompting them to form a more complete consumer product safety manufacturing management system to produce safer consumer products.
