Introduction to standards:

This standard specifies the test method for the thickness of the pile on the carpet base. This standard applies to all carpets whose pile can be cut from the carpet base, but does not apply to carpets with varying pile thickness or density unless the varying areas can be tested separately. Classification number w56
Preparation number 9478-2001
Light Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
QB/T 1555--200
Test method for pile thickness on carpet base Issued on November 15, 2001
China Light Industry Federation
Implementation on May 1, 2002
This standard is equivalent to the regional standard ISO1766:1986 Textile fabrics - Determination of pile thickness of one piece or more [ISO/FTDTS1766:1999] and revised QB/T1555--1992 "Test method for pile thickness on carpet base".
This standard mainly revised ISO/TJ555-122 as follows. 1. According to the international standard, the original standard design of "good velvet machine or pusher" is changed to "non-shaped blade type velvet shear or pusher is etc. bZxz.net
2. In addition to the provisions of the original standard "the medium temperature test must use the test temperature standard atmosphere of the first level standard",
3. In the calculation of the results and the table water, 9.2 is added to calculate the average value of the pile thickness of the metal sample. This standard is issued by the China Light Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Center. The standard is prepared by Tianjin Institute of Carpeting and is mainly used for the maintenance of carpets. From the date of implementation of this standard, the industry standard QBT1555-1992 (Test method for pile thickness on carpet base) issued by the Light Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China shall be effective.
1 Scope
Light Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
Test method for pile thickness on carpet base
This standard specifies the test method for pile thickness on carpet base. QB/T 1555—2001
Revised #QB/1555—1992
This standard applies to all carpets that can be cut from a pile base, but does not apply to carpets with varying pile thickness or separation, unless the varying areas can be tested separately. 2 Reference Standards
The text contained in the following standards shall constitute the text of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is issued, the versions shown are valid. B6329-1986 Standard atmospheres for conditioning and testing textiles QB/T1087-2001 Sampling and specimen collection for testing machine-made carpets Q31089-2001 Test method for purity of machine-made carpets Q81188-2001 Test method for pile thickness 3 Definitions
This standard adopts the following definitions:
Pureness is pile thickness ||t t||The difference in thickness before and after the pile is cut off from the carpet base under a standard pressure of 2.0kPa. 4 Principle
Measure the thickness of the carpet base before and after the pile is cut off under a standard pressure of 2.0kPa to determine the pile thickness. 5 Instruments and tools
5.1 Belt blade shears or push shears, etc.: can cut the pile close to the base. 5.2 Carpet thickness meter: can measure the thickness of the carpet under a standard pressure of 2.0kPa, and should meet the requirements of QB/T1089. 5.3 Scrape, used to scrape the sample surface, can use a ruler to adjust the standard atmosphere for testing and testing. The standard atmosphere for testing and testing adopts the secondary standard atmosphere for testing specified in GB6529, with a temperature of (20 ± 2) °C and a relative humidity of (65 ± 3)%. 7.1 Select the sample according to the procedure specified in GB1087, approved by China Light Industry Federation on November 15, 2002, implemented on May 1, 2002. OB/T1555-2001 7.2 Cut four samples, the size of which shall not be less than 200 × 200 mm, and the four sides shall be parallel or perpendicular to the production direction of the machine. 7.3 Before adjusting the humidity, use a ruler to gently brush the surface against the pile head first, then in the reverse direction of the pile head. 7.4 Before the test, under the conditions specified in Chapter 6, place the specimens with the use side facing upward, flat and individually, for at least 2 hours. 8 Test Procedure 8.1 According to the provisions of OBTS 1089, under the 2,0P standard, measure five uniform thicknesses of each specimen at 15 mm. Each measuring point shall be at least 20 mm from the edge of the specimen. 82 According to 863 of OBTS 18-2001, the tufts shall be cut off from the specimens, and then the thickness of each specimen after the tufts are removed shall be measured in accordance with the provisions of 81 of the standard. Note: When this standard is used to measure adhesive and needle-bonded surfaces, the tufts need to be removed, and the determination of the shearing points needs to be particularly careful. 9 Calculation and Expression of Results 9.1 Calculate the average thickness of each specimen before and after the tufts are removed. 9.2 Calculate the average thickness of all test specimens in millimeters to the nearest 0.1 mm. 10 The test report shall include the following: a) Test procedure in accordance with this standard: a) Description of the specimens used; b) Adjustment and test standard atmosphere: c) Thickness of each specimen before cutting, thickness after cutting: The thickness of each specimen is almost uniform, the average thickness after cutting and the average noise level of the specimens; and c) Type of equipment used.
