Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
Technical Conditions for Rubber Roller Jaw (PJ) Hardness Tester
Subject Content and Applicable Scope
HG/T 2644-94
This standard specifies the principle, product structure and technical requirements of colloidal silver Jaw (P, J) hardness tester. Test methods, inspection regulations, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, etc.
This standard applies to the determination of the apparent hardness of vulcanized rubber mixtures by the PJ hardness tester (hereinafter referred to as the hardness tester) 2 Reference standards
GB230 Metal Rockwell test method
HG/T2382 General technical conditions for rubber testing instruments and equipment HG/T2413.1 Determination of apparent hardness of rubber mixtures by the PJ hardness tester method 3 Principle and product structure
31 Principle: Apply a certain force to the indenter. Make the indenter press into the tested piece, and the hardness value is directly indicated by the display with the indentation depth (1P.J value = 0.01mm)
32 Structure:
The hardness tester is mainly composed of a bracket. The pressure head, force device, value display and other components are shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 Schematic diagram of the structure of the rubber pry Zhao (P.) hardness tester 1. Force operating rod
3. Positioning screw
5. Fixed force value re-collision

4 Technical requirements
Normal working conditions
Should comply with the provisions of Article 3.1 of HG/T2382
Precision of hardness tester
The error should not exceed ±2P.J value
4.3 Bracket
HG/T2644--94
The bracket should comply with the provisions of Article 6.1.1 of HG/T2413.1. The lifting and lowering should be smooth, flexible and without swinging. 4.4 Pressure head
4.4.1 The diameter of the steel ball at the end of the pressure head is 3.175±0.015mm, which is connected to the indicator through a vertical steel rod. 4.4.2 The pressure head is made of wear-resistant and non-rusting hard metal, and the surface hardness should reach HRC48~55. The surface roughness Ra value should not be greater than 0.8μm
4.5 Fixed load
4.5.1 Contact force is: 880±0.20MN
4.5.2 Pressure force is: 9810±0.78MN
4.5.3 Total pressure is: 10690±0.98MN4.6 Indicator Indicator
The range of the display is 1~300P.J value
4.7 Appearance quality
The appearance quality of the hardness tester shall comply with the provisions of Article 3.2 of HG/T2382. 4.8 Transport bump resistance
The transport bump resistance of the hardness tester shall comply with the relevant provisions of Article 4.5 of HG/T2382. 5 Test method
The test shall be carried out under the conditions specified in Article 4.1. 5.1 Test tools and instruments
a. Tool microscope: 50 times, measurement accuracy is 0.005mm; b. Roughness standard comparison block;
c. Rockwell hardness tester:
d. Force sensor: accuracy is 3%.
e. Displacement sensor: accuracy is 5%
5.2 Inspection of the bracket
According to the test operation steps specified in Article 7 of HG/T2413.1, adjust the positioning screw so that the fixed force value moves from top to bottom twice. The bracket should meet the requirements of Article 4.3. 5.3 Inspection of the indenter
5.3.1 Indenter size
Remove the indenter from the steel rod and place it horizontally on a tool microscope or other instruments of equal accuracy. Measure the diameter of the indenter. Take the axis of the indenter as the center and measure the diameter of the indenter every 120 degrees. Take the average of the three measurements as the indenter diameter, which should meet the requirements of 4.4.1.
5.3.2 Indenter hardness
Test the indenter hardness with a Rockwell hardness tester in accordance with GB230. Take the average of three measurements as the indenter hardness. It should meet the requirements of 4.4.2.
5.3.3 Indenter surface roughness
HG/T2644-94
Measure the indenter surface roughness with a roughness standard comparison block. It should meet the requirements of 4.4.2. 5.4 Test of force value
5.4.1 Place the pressure sensor vertically on the fixed load working base, 5.4.2 Slowly adjust the positioning screw on the hardness tester bracket to make the hardness tester pressure head contact with the sensor, and observe the needle of the hardness tester display. When the needle starts to rotate, after the contact force passes through the sensor, the displayed value should meet the requirements of 4.5.1, 5.4.3 Slowly move the force operating lever from left to right to add the fixed force value to the pressure head. At this time, the value displayed by the sensor is the total force, which should meet the requirements of 4.5.3,
5.4.4 The difference between the values obtained by 5.4.2 and 5.4.3 should meet the requirements of 4.5.2. 5.5 Test of hardness value
Use a displacement sensor to test the indentation depth of the hardness tester at three locations with hardness values of 50, 150, and 250 (1P.J value = 0.01mm), measure three times at each location, and take the average value as the test result, which should meet the requirements of 4.2. 6 Inspection ruleswwW.bzxz.Net
Each hardness tester must be inspected and qualified by the quality inspection department of the manufacturer, and can only leave the factory with a product certificate. 6.1 Product inspection is divided into factory inspection and type inspection. Factory inspection is carried out according to 4.2, 4.3, 4.5~4.7. For the contents specified in 4.4, sampling inspection is carried out in batches. Type inspection is carried out according to 4.2~4.8. 6.2 Hardness testers should be type-tested under the relevant circumstances specified in HG/T2382. 6.3 The sampling and judgment rules for type inspection should be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of HG/T2382. 7 Marking, packaging, transportation, and extended storage
The marking, packaging, transportation and storage of hardness testers should comply with the relevant provisions of HG/T2382. 8 Random documents
The types and storage of random documents of hardness testers should comply with the provisions of HG/T2382. Additional remarks:
