Some standard content:
QB/T2401—1998 This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO3764:1997. This standard is a revision of the original GB40401983 "Circular watch movement case diameter size series" and is adjusted to an industry standard. Its technical content is equivalent to ISO3764:1997. The original national standard GB4040-1983 only involves circular movement. This standard adds the content of watch special-shaped movement according to the revised ISO 3764. The main differences between this standard and the original GB4040--1983 are: the title is changed to "Shape, size and name of watch movement" according to the content of the revised standard; Chapter 1 (scope) adds circular cutting 5\ and 6%×8\ movement - Chapter 2 definitions and symbols, Chapter 3 (movement shape and size), and Chapter 4 (movement thickness name) are added. This standard is proposed by the Industry Management Department of the State Bureau of Light Industry. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Clock and Watch Standardization Center. This standard was drafted by the China Light Industry Federation Clock and Watch Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Lin Shuqin and Yang Jian. From the date of implementation of this standard, the original GB4040-1983 Series of Diameter Dimensions of Round Watch Cases will be abolished. 124 QB/T2401—1998 ISO Foreword ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide joint organization of national standard bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of formulating international standards is usually completed by ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in the subject established by the technical committee has the right to participate in the committee. Governmental and non-governmental international organizations that liaise with ISO also participate in this work. In all aspects of electrical standards, ISO works closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The draft international standard adopted by the technical committee shall be circulated to the member body for approval, and at least 75% of the member bodies shall vote in favor before it can be officially published as an international standard. International Standard ISO3764 was drafted by ISO/TC114 Watch Technical Committee, SC7 General Dimensions Technical Committee. 125 HiiKAoNniKAca 1 Scope Light Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Shape, Dimensions and Names of Watch Movements QB/T 2401-1998 idt ISO 3764:1997 This standard specifies the shapes, assembly dimensions and thickness names of mechanical and pointer quartz watch movements. This standard applies to the following 4 types of movements: Type 1: Round Type 2: Round Cut 2 Definitions and Symbols The following definitions and symbols apply to this standard. 2.1 Movement diameter 2.1.1 Assembly diameter d Diameter of movement of the plate or corresponding assembly for the case - Type 3: 5%\ -Type 4: 6%×8\ Note: If the protruding part of the main plate does not exceed 1.5% of the diameter and the length is less than 10% of the circumference, then the assembly diameter does not include the protruding part of the parts. 2.1.2 External diameter d The maximum diameter of the movement. 2.2 Movement thickness 2.2.1 Mechanical 2.2.1.1 Total thickness of the movement t 2.2.2 Pointer quartz 2.2.2.1 Total thickness of the movement without battery 11 The maximum distance between the dial surface and the lowest protruding part of the assembly surface. 2.2.2.2 Total thickness of movement with battery 12 Distance between dial surface and bottom surface of battery. Note: If the battery is not the most protruding component, the total thickness of the movement is set as 1. 2.2.2.3 Total thickness of movement including battery and battery clip 13Distance between dial surface and surface of battery clip. Note If the battery clip is not the most protruding component, the total thickness of the movement is set as 1. 1 2 For pointer quartz watches, the total thickness of the movement does not include the wheel train consisting of hour wheel, minute wheel and center second wheel, nor does it include the thickness of the pointer fastening components and the grounding components connected to the case. 3 Movement shape and size 3.11 Type: round movement 3.1.1 See Figure 1 for round movement.
