The national standard "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Decoration Engineering" (revised version of GBJ15-66) approved and issued by the former Ministry of Construction needs to be revised. The Beijing Municipal Construction Committee is in charge of the Beijing Municipal Housing Administration Bureau, and the relevant design, construction and scientific research units in Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Guangxi, Heilongjiang, Henan and other provinces, cities, autonomous regions and the former Second Ministry of Machine Building have revised it. The draft has been reviewed and finalized, and is now approved for issuance and reported to the State Planning Commission for filing. It will be implemented on February 1, 1984, with the number GBJ210-83. The management and interpretation of the standard will be the responsibility of the "Decoration Engineering Construction Standard Management Group" of Beijing Housing Construction Corporation. We hope to inform them of the problems and opinions in the implementation for reference when revising it.

Revision
This specification is based on the National Capital Construction Committee (79) Jianfa Shi Zi No. 168 Notice and the State Construction Engineering Bureau (80) Jiangong Ke Zi No. 385 Notice, and is edited by the Beijing Capital Construction Committee, the Beijing Housing Administration Bureau, and the Shanghai Construction Bureau, Guangzhou Construction Bureau and Housing Administration Bureau, Jiangsu Wuxi Construction Bureau, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Construction Committee, Harbin Housing Corporation, Henan Building Materials Research Institute and the former Second Ministry of Machine Building Construction Bureau. In the revision process, investigations and studies were conducted, some necessary tests and verifications were carried out, and opinions from all regions of the country were solicited. Finally, a national review meeting was held to review and finalize the draft.
This specification is divided into eight chapters, 38 sections, 276 articles and nine appendices. The main changes are: the original specification chapter "painting and slurry engineering" is divided into two chapters: painting engineering and slurry engineering; two new chapters are added: wallpaper engineering and panel and decoration engineering. In addition, in the original specification chapters on plastering engineering, painting engineering, slurry engineering and finishing engineering, new items such as spraying, bomb coating, roller coating, plastering, imitation stone, art paint, art slurry and decorative exterior wall panels are added; in view of the common quality problems existing in the current decoration engineering, the original specification provisions are appropriately modified and supplemented, such as lath and metal mesh plastering, marble decorative panel installation, glazed tile inlay, etc.; at the same time, according to the construction practice, the original specification Appendix 2 "Coordination Composition of Paint and Putty for Slurry Engineering" has been modified. Due to insufficient investigation and research and limited to our level, please send us the opinions that need to be modified or supplemented during the implementation process so that we can make corrections.

Chapter I General
Article 1.0.1 This specification applies to the construction and acceptance of industrial and civil building decoration projects.
Note: Decoration projects with requirements for protection against radioactive rays, corrosion, fire, etc. should be implemented in accordance with design requirements or relevant regulations.
Article 1.0.2 The materials used in decoration projects should be selected according to design requirements and should comply with the provisions of current material standards. When there is doubt about the quality of the materials, sampling inspection should be carried out and they can only be used after they are qualified.
Article 1.0.3 Mortar, plaster, glass, paint, coatings, etc. used in decoration projects should be processed and prepared centrally. Article 1.0.4 Measures must be taken to prevent damage and deterioration of decorative materials, accessories and components with facings during transportation, storage and construction.
Article 1.0.5 The grade and scope of application of plastering, painting and slurry brushing projects should comply with design requirements.
Article 1.0.6 Decoration projects can only be constructed after the quality inspection of the substrate or base layer is qualified.
Article 1.0.Article 7 Before the construction of high-grade decoration projects, a sample (a sample or a standard room) should be made in advance, and it can only be carried out after being appraised by relevant units. If other levels of decoration projects need to make samples, they should be determined by the design. Article 1.0.8 The construction of outdoor plastering and finishing projects should generally be carried out from the top to the bottom of the engineering construction standard full text information system

. After taking measures for high-rise buildings, it can be carried out in sections. Article 1.0.9 When indoor plastering is carried out before the completion of the roof waterproofing project, protective measures must be taken.
The construction of other indoor decoration projects should be carried out after the completion of the roof waterproofing project and under conditions that they will not be damaged or contaminated by subsequent projects. Article 1.0.10 The construction of indoor cover panels and floral decorations should be carried out after the cushion layer of the ground (floor) surface that is prone to produce high humidity is completed. Article 1.0.11 The construction sequence of interior decoration projects shall comply with the following provisions:
1. Plastering, facing and covering panel projects shall be carried out after the completion of partition walls, door frames, window frames, concealed pipes, wire pipes and electrical embedded parts, and prefabricated reinforced concrete floor slab grouting;
2. The facing projects, covering panels and light decorative installation projects with plastering base shall be carried out after the completion of plastering projects; 3. Painting and slurrying projects shall be carried out before the construction of plastic, magnesia, floor paint cloth and hard fiberboard and exposed wires, as well as after the pressure test of pipeline equipment projects. The last coat of paint on the surface layer of wooden floor (floor) boards shall be carried out after the completion of wallpapering projects; 4. Wallpapering projects shall be carried out after the completion of painting and slurrying projects on ceilings, walls, doors and windows and building equipment.
Article 1.0.12 The ambient temperature for indoor and outdoor decoration projects shall comply with the following provisions:
1. The temperature for plastering, finishing and decoration projects, as well as high-level plastering and mixed-color painting projects shall not be lower than 5°C;
2. The temperature for intermediate and ordinary plastering, mixed-color painting projects, and glass projects shall be above 0°C;
