Determination of insoluble particles This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO1598-1975 "Plastics 1 Subject content and scope of application .-Cellulose acetate GB 11994-89 Determination of insoluble particles". This standard specifies the method for determining the number of visible particles (including various pollutants and black sludge) in cellulose acetate, which are insoluble in a mixed solvent of monomethyl phthalate, chloroform and methanol, and whose size is more than 0.15 mm. This standard is applicable to cellulose acetate with an acetate value greater than 50% and does not contain additives that affect the test results. 2 Reference Standards GB7132 Determination of Water Content of Unplasticized Cellulose Acetate 3 Principle Add a solvent to cellulose acetate to prepare a solution, and count the number of insoluble particles visible in the solution, whose size is equal to or greater than the standard reference particles of the specified size. 4 Reagents and Materials All reagents should be free of insoluble particles. .4.1 Methyl Chloride: The relative density at 20/20℃ is 1.321~~1.331. At 101.3 kPa (760 mmHg), the volume fraction between 39 and 40.5 should not be less than 95% (V/). 4.2. Methanol: The relative density at 20 °C/20 °C is 0.792~0.795, and the distillation range at 101.3 kPa (760 mmHg) is 64.5~65.5 °C . 4.3 Dimethyl phthalate: The water content is less than 0.1% (m/m). 4.4 Standard reference particles: This particle is a round spot with clear boundaries on a transparent background. The diameter of the round spot is 0.1.5±0.005 mm. It is fixed on a holder so that the round spot can be kept under the glass III and close to the granules seen in the cellulose acetate solution. 5 Instruments . 5.1 Transparent glass ml: The flat bottom area is not less than 2.6×10*mm. Draw fine lines on the bottom surface to form a square grid with a side length of 25mm. The glass has a transparent cover to prevent dust from entering. 5.2. Illumination observation platform: Light is evenly illuminated through a reflector from 80mm below the glass. 6 samples are used: In the illumination observation platform, a reflector with adjustable direction is installed below the glass to replace the opalescent glass in I501598, which can also achieve the same effect. The State Bureau of Technical Supervision approved the determination of moisture content of samples in accordance with GB7132 on December 25, 1989 and implemented on November 1, 1990. 7 Steps GB 11994-89 7.1 Prepare a mixture of dichloromethane and methanol in a ratio of 9:1 (VV), and connect the above mixture with dimethyl phthalate in a ratio of 3:1 Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
