Foreword
This standard is equivalent to IEC335-2-48 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Part 2: Special Requirements for Commercial Electric Ovens and Toasters" (1988) (first edition), (first revision in 1990). This standard should be used in conjunction with GB4706.1-92 "General safety requirements for household and similar electrical appliances".
The safety standards for household and similar electrical appliances consist of two parts. The first part is the general requirements, and the second part is the special safety requirements for the product.
The part of this standard that says "applicable" means that the corresponding provisions in GB4706.1-92 are applicable to this standard; the part of this standard that says "replace" or "modify" should be based on this standard. The provisions in the standard shall prevail; the part marked "added" in this standard means that in addition to complying with the corresponding provisions of GB4706.1-92, it must also comply with the added provisions in this standard. This standard is proposed by the Industrial Department of the Ministry of Domestic Trade of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Commercial Electrical Food Processing and Service Equipment Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Household Electrical Appliances. This standard was drafted by: National Catering Service Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. The main drafters of this standard: Gu Xiru, Xia Xiaoli, Wang Shujing, Mao Suhua GB4706.39—1997
IEC Foreword
1) IEC related technical committees formulated by all national committees with special concerns about this A formal resolution or agreement on a technical matter that represents as nearly as possible an expression of international consensus on the issues involved. 2) These resolutions or agreements are in the form of recommendations for international use and are accepted by all national committees in this sense. 3) In order to promote international uniformity, IEC hopes that all national committees should adopt IEC to the extent that their domestic circumstances permit. The contents of the standards serve as regulations for their countries. Any inconsistencies between the standards recommended by IEC and the corresponding national standards should be clearly stated in the national standards as much as possible.
IEC Preface
This publication was developed by Subcommittee 61E "Safety of Commercial Electrical Food Processing and Service Equipment" of IEC Technical Committee 61 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances". It constitutes the first edition of the IEC335-2-48 publication. The text of this publication is based on the following document: June Law
