This standard includes the flotation quartz sand, high-purity quartz sand and ultra-pure quartz sand newly developed by Chinese scientific and technological workers in recent years, and points out the direction for making full use of my country's high-quality quartz resources. This standard was issued on January 31, 1996, and was implemented on September 1, 1996 after a 7-month transition period. This standard was proposed by the Quality Standards Department of the China Light Industry Association. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Glass Instrument Standardization Center.
