I has modified the original standard structure, added the hygienic requirements for raw materials and auxiliary materials, production and processing, packaging, labeling, storage and transportation requirements, and the standard name has been changed to "Hygienic Standard for Bottled (Barreled) Purified Drinking Water". The following terms and definitions apply to this standard. 3.1
Bottled (barreled) drinking purified water
Water that meets the sanitary standard for drinking water is used as raw material and is made through electrodialysis, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, distillation and other appropriate processing methods, sealed in a container and does not contain any additives and can be drunk directly. 4 Index requirements

8.1 Storage

9.1 Sensory indicators
Determine according to the methods specified in GB/T8538.
9.2 Physical and chemical indicators
9.2.1 pH value, conductivity , potassium permanganate consumption, chloride shall be determined according to the method specified in GB17323.
9.2.2 Free chlorine, total arsenic, lead, copper, cyanide, nitrite, volatile phenol, chloroform, carbon tetranitride shall be determined according to the method specified in GB/T5750.

(Normative Appendix)
Guidelines for Hygiene of Bottled (Barreled) Purified Drinking Water This guideline is formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Food Hygiene Law of the People's Republic of China to guide the production of bottled (barreled) purified drinking water to meet food hygiene requirements and ensure people's health. A.2 Scope of application
Bottled (barreled) drinking purified water refers to bottled drinking purified water that is made from water that meets the quality standards for drinking water, and is produced through electrodialysis, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, distillation and other appropriate processing methods. It is sealed in a container and does not contain any additives and can be drunk directly. A.3 Guiding principles
Article 1 The design and layout of each newly built, expanded and renovated production unit shall comply with GB14881 "General Hygiene Standards for Food Enterprises". Article 2 The water treatment workshop shall be a closed room, and the filling workshop shall be closed and equipped with air purification equipment. The air cleanliness shall reach Class 1000, and automatic filling shall be used.
Article 3 Equipment, pipelines, tools, utensils and water storage facilities must be made of non-toxic, odorless, corrosion-resistant and easy-to-clean materials. The surface should be smooth, without pits, peeling, gaps, dead corners, blind ends, not easy to accumulate dirt, and easy to clean and disinfect; storage tanks should be easy to drain water to avoid the formation of dead water layers that cause microbial contamination.
Article 4 Packaging materials shall comply with relevant national health standards, and the use of recycled bottles (except barrels) is prohibited. Bottles and caps must be cleaned and disinfected strictly before filling using automated equipment. Article 5 Effective disinfection measures shall be taken, and the total number of colonies, coliform bacteria, and drug residues shall not be detected in terminal water, cleaned bottles and caps. Article 6 Employees must maintain good personal hygiene and wear clean work clothes, work hats and work shoes before entering the workshop. Work clothes should cover outer clothes and hair should not be exposed outside the hat. Personnel entering the filling room must change clothes twice and wear masks before entering. Article 7 Pure water production units should establish their own health management organization, equip qualified inspection personnel, establish inspection rooms that meet the requirements and are suitable for production capacity, and be responsible for product inspection. Its sensory indicators, pH value, conductivity, total colony count and coliform group must be inspected for each batch, and only after passing the inspection can they be shipped out of the factory.
Article 8 Pure water production units should regularly inspect raw water, and at the same time, they should conduct a full inspection once a year according to GB5749; in addition to routine inspections for each batch of pure water products, they should also conduct full inspections twice a year according to this standard; if there is a suspension of production, a full inspection must be conducted before production, and the inspection report should be properly preserved for inspection by food hygiene supervision agencies. Article 9 Bottled (barreled) drinking purified water must comply with the provisions of the Food Hygiene Law of the People's Republic of China and GB7718. In addition to the product name, the words "purified water" should also be marked. Purified water produced by non-distillation process cannot be marked as distilled water. Copyright reserved
