This standard specifies the conditions for the thermal balance performance test of crawler bulldozers, the instruments and equipment used, the measuring parts, essentials, test methods, judgment methods and the format of the test record sheet.
This standard is applicable to the thermal balance test of crawler bulldozers with new designs, modifications, conversions, and major changes in structure or performance. The thermal balance test of crawler loaders and crawler tractors can also be used for reference. 2
Reference standard
JB1666
3Test purpose
Crawler bulldozer
Type test method
Check and verify whether the thermal balance performance of crawler bulldozers during idling and load operation meets the requirements. Test conditions
The test sample must be run-in for no less than 50 hours. The engine speed and fan speed should be adjusted within the specified range. Antifreeze is not allowed to be added to the cooling water, and the water level should be within the specified range of the radiator. The hydraulic oil tank should be filled to the maximum allowable oil level, and the rest of the parts should be filled within the specified range. Fix the thermostat in the fully open state.
The door in the test is opened to the maximum state.
The temperature sensor should be installed at the oil flow part. When the temperature sensor is placed at the oil dipstick position for measurement, the sensor should be 100mm from the tip of the dipstick.
Before the test, the bulldozer attachments and accessories should be recorded, and the soil on the crawler should be cleared. 4.8
This test cannot be carried out on rainy days and when the wind speed is greater than or equal to 6m/s. The test time should be selected within the range of 10 am to 4 pm, and the climate, temperature and air pressure should be recorded. During the entire test, a dedicated person should be responsible for measuring the readings. Test equipment
The test equipment refers to the provisions of Article 6.2 of JB166G. 6 Test location
The test measurement locations are shown in Tables 1 and 2.

7 Measurement essentials
JB/T6033--92
7.1 Water temperature and oil temperature should be measured with a thermistor thermometer, which should be carried out at half the distance of bulldozing (or running). If it cannot be measured during operation, it should be measured after stopping the engine and when the engine speed drops to a low speed. However, the measurement time shall not exceed 5 minutes. 7.2 When measuring, the thermistor sensor element should be inserted into the flow part of water or oil. If an expansion thermometer is used for measurement, the thermal sensitive part should be fully immersed in water or in the oil.
7.3 The torque converter and water tank cooler must be measured during operation. The temperature difference between the door and the outlet is the temperature of the water tank cooling. 7.4 The temperature measurement interval is once at the beginning of the test, once after 1 hour of the test, and once every half an hour thereafter, until the whole machine reaches a thermal equilibrium state.
5 The number of measurement points for each test location should be more than 1 point, and the temperature measurement accuracy is ±0.5℃. 7.5
8 Test method
8.1 Idle running test method
On the 3-shaped runway 1: Circulate at the highest speed, measure the temperature once at the beginning of the test, measure it again after 1 hour, and measure it every half an hour thereafter, until the whole machine reaches a thermal equilibrium state. 8.2 Test method during operation
The operator can choose two skilled drivers to rotate once every hour. When moving forward, use the first gear to push the earth, and require full shovel operation. When moving backward, use the gear to return. The pushing and transporting range should be within the range of 20 to 40m, and the operation should be repeated. When the pushing depth is greater than the height of the shovel, fill in the opposite direction to prevent the temperature from dropping. The measurement should be carried out halfway through the pushing. The measurement interval is the same as Article 8.1 until the whole machine reaches a state of thermal equilibrium.
Note: If the temperature is overheated or overcooled during operation, the tension of the wind belt, the air volume of the wind braid and the function of the cooler should be checked for normality. Determination method
Determination method of thermal balance test temperature If the temperature rise of three consecutive measuring points (such as 2h, 2.5h.3h) of each component does not exceed ±1°C, the whole machine is considered to have reached a state of thermal equilibrium (based on the replacement screen value). 40℃ conversion value formula: measured temperature + (40℃ - measured atmospheric temperature) 10
Test record
Measured data of mechanical drive type pusher shall be recorded in the format of Table 1, and measured data of hydraulic mechanical drive type bulldozer shall be recorded in the format of Table 2. Additional remarks:
