GB16895.13—2002 All technical contents of this standard are mandatory. Foreword This standard is equivalent to IEC60364-7-701:1984 "Electrical installations in buildings Section 701 Places with bathtubs or shower trays". GB16895 "Electrical installations in buildings" is divided into the following 7 parts under the general title: Part 1: Scope, purpose and basic principles Part 2: Definitions Part 3: Evaluation of general characteristics Part 4: Safety protection Part 5: Selection and installation of electrical equipment Part 6: Inspection Part 7: Requirements for special installations or places This standard is Section 701 of Part 7: Requirements for special installations or places. This standard is proposed by China Electrical Equipment Industry Association. This standard is drafted by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Electrical Installations in Buildings. The responsible drafting unit of this standard is China Architecture Northeast Design Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Li Xinglin and Ye Ping. This standard is entrusted to China Architecture Northeast Design Institute for interpretation. Part 7, Set of requirements for special installations or locations GB16B95.13—2002 IEC Preface 1) [EC formal resolutions or agreements on technical issues.1. are formulated by technical committees composed of national committees that are particularly concerned with these issues, and express international consensus on the issues involved as much as possible. 2) These resolutions or agreements are used internationally in the form of standards and are accepted by various national committees in this sense. 3) In order to promote international unification, IEC hopes that all national committees will adopt IEC standards in their respective national regulations under the conditions permitted by their domestic conditions. If there are any inconsistencies between IEC standards and corresponding national regulations, they should be clearly pointed out in the national regulations as much as possible. IEC ForewordbzxZ.net This standard was proposed by IEC Technical Committee 64: Electrical Installations in Buildings. The draft was discussed at the Anacapri Conference in 1981 and the resulting draft, Document 64 (Central Office) 123, was submitted to the National Committees for approval in April 1982 under the "six-month rule". The National Committees of the following countries voted to publish it: Australia Austria Israel Italy New Zealand Romania Former Soviet Union Other IEC Publication: Publication 60669-1°: Switches for household and similar fixed electrical installations Part 1: General requirements. Adoption instructions: 11EC60669-1 has two versions, namely 1981, 1993, and 1998. my country's national standard GB16915.11997 Switches for household and similar fixed electrical installations Part 1: General requirements is equivalent to 1EC60669-1:1993, and the corresponding national standard of my country is being formulated to correspond to IEC60669-1:1998. National Standard of the People's Republic of China Electrical installations of building Part 7! Requirements for special installations or locations Section 70: Electrical installations of buildiags Part 7: Requirements for speclal installations or locations-Section 701: Locations containing a bath tub or shower basin700.1 cited GB16895.132002 idt IEC 60364-7-7D1:1984 The provisions of Part 7 are used to supplement, amend or cancel the general requirements in other parts of IEC60364. The numbers added after the specific section numbers in Part 7 correspond to the numbers of the chapters, sections or articles in JE60364. Any chapter, section or article numbers of IEC60361 that are not listed means that the general requirements of these articles are applicable in this section. 701 Places with bathtubs or shower trays 701.1 Scope of application The specific requirements of this section apply to bathtubs, shower trays and their surrounding areas where the risk of electric shock is increased due to the reduction of human body resistance and the contact of human body with ground potential. Except for 70 1.53b), these requirements do not apply to prefabricated enclosed shower rooms with built-in shower trays and drainage systems. Note: Special requirements may be required for locations with bathing pools for medical purposes. 701.3 Evaluation of general characteristics 701.32 Division of zones These requirements are based on the dimensions of four zones (see Figures 701A and 701B for examples). - Zone 0 The interior of the bathtub or shower tray; ---Boundaries of Zone 1 The vertical plane surrounding the bathtub or shower tray, or for locations without shower trays, the vertical plane 0.6 m from the shower head, the ground and the horizontal plane 2.25 m above the ground; -2 Boundary of Zone The vertical plane outside Zone 1 and the vertical plane 0.6m away from it, the ground and the horizontal plane 2.25m above the ground; Boundary of Zone 3 The vertical plane outside Zone 2 and the vertical plane 2.4m away from it, the ground and the horizontal plane 2.25m above the ground. The specified dimensions have taken into account the thickness of the basin wall and the surrounding partition ends (see b), d), and f) in Figure 701A). 701.4 Safety protection 701.41 Protection against electric shock Note: For protection of sockets, see 701.53g). Approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China on 2002-02-28 Implementation on 2003-03-01 GB16895.13—2002 701.411.1.3.7\J Where safety extra-low voltage 2 is used, regardless of its nominal voltage, the following measures shall be adopted to achieve direct contact protection: --Shielding or outer protection with a minimum protection level of IP2×; or--Insulation capable of withstanding a test voltage of 500V for 1 min. 701.413.1.6 Auxiliary equipotential bonding Local auxiliary equipotential bonding shall connect the external conductive parts of all installations in zones 1, 2 and 3 to the protective conductors of all exposed conductive parts located in these zones. 701.471 Application of electric shock protection measures 701.471.0 In zone 0, only protective measures with a nominal medium voltage not exceeding 12V are allowed, and the safety power supply should be located outside zone 0. 701.471.1 Protective measures such as barriers (6.3 in GB1314821) and those placed outside the reach of arms (6.4 in GB14821) are not allowed. 701.471. 2 2 Protective measures such as non-conductive places (7.3 in GB14821) and ungrounded equipotential bonding (7.4 in GB14821) are not allowed. 701.5 Selection and installation of electrical equipment 701. 51 General 701.512.2 Electrical equipment should have the following minimum protection level: Zone 0: IP×7 Zone 1: ×5 Zone 2: IP× 4 !
