3 Definitions
This standard adopts the following definitions:
Weathering steel is steel resistant to atmospheric corrosion.
Weathering steel for welded structures is made by adding a small amount of alloying elements such as Cu, CrVi, etc. to the steel to form a protective layer on the surface of the metal matrix to improve the weathering resistance of the steel while maintaining good welding performance. 4 Classification and code
4.1 Classification
Steel is divided into two categories according to the delivery state:
a) Delivery in hot-rolled or normalized state:
b) Delivery in quenched and tempered state.
4.2. Grade designation method
The grade of steel consists of the Chinese phonetic letters representing "yield point" and "weather resistance" and the number of the yield point, and the quality grade code (C, D, F) is added after the grade.
For example: Q355NIIC, Q460NHD
Q-yield point "yield" is the first letter of the Chinese phonetic letter: NH...is the first letter of the Chinese phonetic letter of the two characters "resistance" and "weather" respectively; 355.460-the number of the yield point, unit.MPa. 5. Dimensions and shape and their allowable deviations
The size, shape and allowable deviation of steel plates and steel strips shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T709. 5.1
5.2 The size, shape and allowable deviation of steel sections shall comply with the provisions of relevant standards. 6. Technical requirements
6.1 Grade and chemical composition
6.1.1 The grade and chemical composition of steel shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. 6.1.2 The lower limit of silicon content of Q235NH and Q295NH can be 0.10%, and the lower limit of manganese content of Q355NH can be 0.60. 6.1.3 In order to improve the performance of steel, each grade can add one or more trace alloy elements. Ni≤0.65%Nb0.015%0.050%,V0.02%~-0.15%,Ti0.02%~0.10%,Mo≤0.30%,Zr≤0.15,A120.020%. 6.1.4 The allowable deviation of chemical composition of finished steel and steel bar shall comply with the provisions of GB/T222.2

If there are the above defects on the surface, it is allowed to be removed, and the depth of elimination shall not exceed half of the steel thickness tolerance. The removed area shall be smooth and without edges and corners, and the surface defects of the steel shall not be removed horizontally. Other defects that do not affect the use are allowed to exist, but the minimum thickness of the steel should be guaranteed. 6.5.2 Steel strips can be delivered with defects, and the defective part shall not exceed 10% of the total length of the steel strip. 7 Test method
7.1 The inspection items, sampling quantity, sampling method and test method of each batch of steel shall comply with the provisions of Table 3. Table 3

7.2 When the steel plate, steel strip and steel section with a thickness of 6~<12mm or the steel bar with a diameter of 12~16mm is subjected to impact test, a small size specimen of 5mm×10mm×55mm or 7.5mm×10mm×55mm shall be used. One rolling surface of the impact specimen may be retained. 8 Inspection rules
8.1 Steel products shall be inspected and accepted by the supplier's technical supervision department. If necessary, the purchaser has the right to conduct inspections in accordance with the provisions of this standard: 8.2 Steel products shall be accepted in batches. Each batch shall consist of steel products of the same furnace number, the same type, the same size, the same rolling system and the same delivery status, and the weight shall not exceed 60t.
8.3 Re-inspection
8.3.1 If the impact test results do not meet the requirements of the Taiwan regulations, 3 more samples shall be taken from the same sheet (roll) or a piece of steel for testing. The average value of the 6 consecutive samples shall not be less than the specified value in Table 3. It is allowed that 2 samples are lower than the specified value, but only 1 sample is allowed to be lower than 70% of the specified value.
8.3.2 Other re-inspections of steel products shall comply with the provisions of GB/T247, GB/T210I or G13/T17505. 9 Packaging, marking and quality certificate
The packaging, marking and quality certificate of steel shall comply with the provisions of GB/T247 and GB/T2101. GB/T 4172—2000
