This standard applies to seeds used for afforestation within the scope of this zoning. It does not apply to seeds used for urban greening and experiments. 1 Terminology

2 Seed zone division

There are 3 seed zones and 4 sub-zones within the natural distribution range, see Appendix A (supplement). The natural conditions and forest characteristics of various sub-zones are shown in Appendix B (reference)
3 Origin label
3.1 After collecting seeds, fill in the origin label for each seed batch and attach it to the inside and outside of the packaging container. After the seeds are prepared, the label should be kept throughout the whole process from packaging and transportation to sowing. When the seedlings are taken out of the nursery, the origin label should be attached by the batch. 3.2 The origin label is formulated by the county or the forestry department at the same level, and a special person is responsible for signing it. 3.3 The origin label is yellow. Its size and form can be found in GB8822.1-88 "China's Forest Seed Zone Pinus Tabulaeformis Seed Zone 4 Seed Use Regulations" 4.1 Seed-using units can only use seeds with origin labels 1W.n6
4.2 Except for the southern sub-area of ​​Gannan (I.), which can use seeds from the northwestern Sichuan seed area (I), others can only use seeds from this seed area. However, the marginal counties adjacent to the two sub-areas can use seeds from each other. 4.3 The collection and use of seeds shall not exceed the altitude range specified in the seed area division table in Appendix A. There are natural pure forests in Zhouqu County, Lintan County, and Zhuoting County at an altitude of 2400~2800m. The rest are scattered. There are about 20,000 hectares of inhabited forests in this area at an altitude of about 3000m. In

In Shui County and Li County, there are patches, tens of thousands of patches, and blocks of natural pure forests, which are mixed with Minjiang fir, birch, poplar, and alpine oak forests. Songpan County, Heishui County, Li County, and Xiaojin County's spruce collection base can provide more than 5,000 kg of pure seeds in every seed-rich year. There are about 20-year-old artificial forests in the range of 2300-3800m above sea level. There are discontinuous zero-number forests in the range of 2000-2500m above sea level, mostly scattered in Huashan pine, Chinese pine, Taibai fir and Minjiang fir forests, or with Qingqiao big fruit stalk and wheat hanging fir.
