6 Labels
6.1 Overview
6.1.1 For labels of metal corrosives, the hazard types are listed in the order of the designated pictograms and hazard statements. The hazard types or categories covered by the United Nations "Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods Model Regulations" (17th revised edition) (hereinafter referred to as the Model Regulations) should list the designated corresponding graphic signs for each category in the label. The allocation of elements such as metal corrosive labels is shown in Appendix B. 6.1.2 For classification standards and label elements for metal corrosives, see Appendix C6.1.3 The information required on the label includes hazard pictograms, signal words, hazard statements, precautionary statements, product identifiers and supplier logos. Note: For other label elements that have not yet been standardized, such as precautionary statements, they also need to be included on the label. The competent authority may also request additional information, and the supplier may also add additional information.
6.2 Hazard pictograms
Hazard pictograms should be black and have a black background that is wide enough for easy hearing.
Note
The color, number and minimum size of the hazard pictograms specified in the Model Regulations are shown in the Appendix.
6.3 Signal words
Signal words are words used on labels to indicate the relative severity of hazards and to alert readers to potential hazards. For metal corrosive substances, use the signal word "Warning". 6.4 Hazard statements A hazard statement refers to a phrase of the hazard class and category, which also includes the degree of hazard. 6.5 Precautionary statements A phrase of the hazard class and category is used to describe the hazardous nature of a hazardous product. When appropriate, hazard statements and precautionary statements for metal corrosive substances are given in Appendix D. A precautionary statement is a word (and) (or pictogram) used to describe the measures recommended to minimize or prevent the adverse effects of contact with the hazardous product or improper storage or handling of the hazardous product. To meet the requirements, a total of There are 5 types of precautionary statements: general, emergency prevention, storage and disposal. See Appendix 6.6 Product identifiers for precautionary statements on metal corrosives
6.6.1 The product identifier should be used on the label and should be consistent with the product identifier used on the material safety data sheet. If a substance or mixture is listed in the Model Regulations, the correct UN shipping name should also be used on the packaging. 6.6.2 The label should include the chemical name of the substance. For mixtures or alloys, when acute toxicity, skin or respiratory sensitization or specific target organ toxicity appear on the label, the label should include all ingredients that may cause these hazards. The competent authority may require that the chemical names of all ingredients or alloying elements that may contribute to the hazard of the mixture or alloy be listed on the label. 6.7 Supplier identification
The name, address and telephone number of the manufacturer or supplier of the substance or mixture should be provided on the label. 6.8 For examples of labels for metallic corrosives, see Appendix E. 2

D.1 Overview
Appendix D
(Informative Appendix)
Hazard statements and precautionary statements for metallic corrosives D.1.1 This appendix provides guidance on how to use hazard statements and precautionary statements that comply with GHS for metallic corrosives. It lists the hazard statements and model statements for each hazard type and hazard category of metallic corrosives. See GB 1360 D.1.2 Coding of hazard statements
D.1.2.1 See Annex 3 of GHS for the coding of hazard statements. D.1.2.2 Each hazard statement shall be assigned a specific alphanumeric code consisting of 1 letter and 3 digits as follows: (Hazard Statement) The first letter H (stands for B) stands for the different parts of the hazard, stands for physical hazards, stands for health hazards, stands for environmental hazards: The last two digits correspond to the serial number of the hazard caused by the properties of the substance or the substance, as follows: Explosiveness (code 200), Combustibility (codes 226 to 210), Flammability (codes 230), etc. All hazard statements should appear on the label. The competent government department may specify the order in which the hazard statements appear on the label unless otherwise specified!
In addition, when a combination hazard statement provides more than one hazard statement, the competent government department may specify whether the combined hazard statement or the corresponding individual statement should be included on the label, or it may be decided by the manufacturer or supplier. D.1.3 Precautionary statements should be marked on the label together with the unified hazard communication elements (pictograms, signals and hazard statements) in accordance with the requirements.
Instructions for use may be supplemented with additional supplementary information at the discretion of the manufacturer/supplier and/or competent authority.
D.1.3.1 The codes of precautionary statements are shown in Annex 3 of GHS. D.1. 3.2 Coding of precautionary statement codes
D.1.3.2.1 Each precautionary statement is assigned a special alphanumeric code consisting of 1 letter and 3 numbers, as follows:
The letter "P" (standing for "precautionary statement"); the first number represents the type of precautionary statement, as follows: "1" represents general precautionary statement;
"2" represents prevention precautionary statement;
"3" represents emergency precautionary statement;
"4" represents storage precautionary statement;
"5" represents disposal precautionary statement;
f) and the last 2 numbers (corresponding to the serial number of the precautionary statement). D.1.3.2.2 The precautionary statement code is for reference only. The precautionary statement code is not a precautionary statement. The precautionary statements are part of the precautionary statements and should not be used to replace the precautionary statements.
D.2 General precautionary statements
General precautions should be taken for all substances and mixtures classified as hazardous to human health or the environment. The following general precautionary statements apply to GHS labels under the given conditions (see Table D.1). Table D.1
