Tobacco leaf grade code
The tobacco leaf grade code is encoded in a sequential code structure and is represented in sequence by three Arabic numerals. 6.1 Flue-cured tobacco grade code
According to the provisions of GB2635-1992, tobacco leaves are divided into groups according to the position, color and main characteristics related to their overall quality: lower lemon yellow group (XL), lower orange yellow group (XF), middle lemon yellow group (CL), middle orange yellow group (CF), upper lemon yellow group (BL), upper orange yellow group (BF), upper reddish brown group (BR), fully mature leaf group (H), middle and lower variegated group (CXK), upper variegated group (BK), smooth leaf group (S), slightly green group (V), green-yellow group (GY). The above flue-cured tobacco groups are divided into different grades according to their quality records, with a maximum of 4 grades. Referring to the provisions of GB2635-1992, the flue-cured tobacco grades are composed of the groups and grades of the flue-cured tobacco, which are divided into 4 grades of lower lemon yellow, 4 grades of lower orange yellow, 1 grade of middle lemon yellow, 4 grades of middle orange yellow, 4 grades of upper lemon yellow, 4 grades of upper orange yellow, 3 grades of upper reddish brown, 2 grades of mature leaves, 2 grades of lower variegated leaves, 3 grades of upper variegated leaves, 2 grades of light leaves, 4 grades of micro-bands, 2 grades of green-yellow, a total of 42 grades.
In addition, considering the actual business management needs of tobacco leaves, an additional grade of non-grade tobacco (referring to other flue-cured tobacco outside the 42 grades) code is added. The flue-cured tobacco grade code is shown in Table 2.
