1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies all spline dimensions required for cylindrical spur involute splines with 45° standard pressure angle round tooth root (hereinafter referred to as 45° round tooth root).
This standard is applicable to involute splines with a pressure angle of 45°, a module of 0.25 to 2.5 mm and a flank fit as specified in GB/T3478.1.
This dimension table is compiled according to the calculation formula in Table 3 of GB/T3478.1 and the flank fit is H/h, and the basic inspection method is adopted. 2 Reference standards

3.1 Dimension table of splines with 45° round tooth root, module of 0.25 to 2.5 mm, tolerance grades 4, 5, 6 and 7, see Tables 1 to 18. 3.2 Limit deviations of internal spline minor diameter D and tolerances of external spline major diameter D, see Table 25 of GB/T3478.1. 3.3 The tolerances of internal spline major diameter D and external spline minor diameter D are selected from GB1800 standard tolerances IT12, IT13 or IT14. 3.4 When the internal and external splines are machined by the generating method, the root radius is variable. This standard gives the minimum curvature radius of the root arc, see GB/T 3478.1 Table 26.
3.5 When the selected inspection method is not the basic method, the maximum effective tooth width, the minimum actual tooth width, the minimum effective tooth thickness and the maximum actual tooth thickness are calculated as follows:
The maximum effective tooth width Evmax=Emax-A; the minimum actual tooth width Emin-Evmin+A; the minimum effective tooth thickness Svmin-Smin+A; the maximum actual tooth thickness Smx=Svurux-A. 3.6 When the spline tooth side fit category is not H/h, the size of the external spline in the dimension table should be calculated as follows: The maximum effective tooth thickness Svmax=S+esv;
The minimum actual tooth thickness SminSvmax-(T+a). Where: esv - upper deviation of effective tooth thickness, see Table 23 of GB/T3478.1; (T+A) - total tolerance, see Table 7 to Table 15 of GB/T3478.1. The upper deviation of the major and minor diameters of external splines is shown in Table 24 of GB/T3478.1. 3.7 The value of the maximum value of the involute starting circle diameter Dremax of the external spline in this dimension table is calculated according to the formula derived from the rack-shaped tool processing principle.
