This series of standards consists of seven parts: Determination of physical properties of filter rods Part 1: Length photoelectric method Part 2: Circumference Determination of physical properties of filter rods Laser method Determination of physical properties of filter rods Part 3: Absorption resistance Part 4: Hardness Determination of physical properties of filter rods Determination of physical properties of filter rods Part 5: Moisture Determination of physical properties of filter rods Part 6: Roundness Determination of physical properties of filter rods Part 7: Appearance This part replaces YC/T37.1-1996 "Determination of physical properties of filter rods Part 1: Length". The main changes of this part compared with YC/T37.1-1996 are as follows: Addition of the photoelectric method for determining the length of filter rods; Adjustment of YC/T 37.1-1996 to Appendix A. Appendix A of this part is an informative appendix. This part was proposed by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration. This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Tobacco Standardization Technical Committee (TC44). The drafting unit of this part is the National Tobacco Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. The main drafters of this part are Zhou Decheng, Li Xiaohui, Feng Xiaomin, Wang Yunfang and Zhao Hang. The previous versions of the standard replaced by this part are: YC/T37.1—1996. 548 1 Scope Determination of physical properties of filter rods Part 1: Length photoelectric method This part of YC/T37 specifies the method for determining the length of filter rods. This part is applicable to various filter rods. 2 Normative references YC/T 37. 1—2002 The clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this part through reference in this part of YC/T37. GB/T16447 Atmospheric environment for conditioning and testing of tobacco and tobacco products (idtISO3402) 3 Principle of measurement Use parallel light beams to project or scan the end of the filter rod to form a light signal, which is received by the photoelectric receiving device and processed by the data processing system to give the length value of the filter rod. 4 Instruments and equipment 4.1 Photoelectric length measuring instruments should meet the following requirements: automatic feeding; Optical system that can generate parallel light beams (laser or ordinary light); capable of multi-point measurement of the end of the sample; A photoelectric receiving device that can receive the signal at each measuring point; The data processing system can perform statistics on each measurement data and give the sample length value as the arithmetic mean; The accuracy of the instrument measurement result is 0.05mm. 4.2 Standard rod, accuracy is 0.005mm. 5 Measurement steps Adjust the sample according to GB/T16447 and test under corresponding environmental conditions. 5.1 Turn on the power and adjust the instrument according to the instrument operating procedures. 5.2 According to the specifications of the sample, select a standard rod of corresponding length and calibrate the standard push length of the instrument. 5.3 Place the filter rod in the measuring position so that the parallel light beam shines on the end of the filter rod, and project or scan the end of the filter rod. 5.4 The filter rod length value is given by the photoelectric receiving device and the data processing system. 5.5 Repeat steps 5.3 to 5.4 and test a total of 30 samples. 6 Result expression The measurement results are expressed in millimeters, accurate to 0.1 mm. 7 Measurement report The measurement report shall include the following contents: YC/T37.1—2002 The number of this part of YC/T37; The mark and description of the sample; The measurement time, the instrument and model used; the environmental conditions of the measurement and the measurement results. A.1 Measurement principle Appendix A (Informative appendix) Measurement of filter length by projection method YC/T37.1—2002 Using the method of parallel light projection, the magnified image is compared with the "standard sample" to measure the length of the sample. A.2 Instruments and equipment The instrument for measuring length shall meet the following requirements: an optical system that produces parallel light; —Imaging system: magnification 20 times. A standard template is available at the projection site. There should be a reference line and a length measurement baseline on the template to ensure that the length direction of the sample is parallel to the reference line and perpendicular to the length measurement baseline during projection. A workbench: It should have a V-groove for placing the sample and a baffle for positioning, which can realize the longitudinal and lateral movement of the sample and be equipped with a vernier ruler with an accuracy of 0.05mm. A.3 Measurement steps Adjust the sample according to GB/T16447 and test under corresponding environmental conditions. A.3.1 Turn on the power and adjust the instrument according to the instrument operating procedures. A.3.2 According to the specifications of the sample, select a standard rod of corresponding length and calibrate the standard length of the instrument. A.3.3 Place the sample in the V-groove of the workbench, with the overlap facing the operator and one end close to the positioning baffle. Move the workbench so that the length direction of the sample projection is parallel to the reference line, and the projection line of the other end of the sample coincides with the length measurement baseline, and read the length value of the sample from the vernier ruler. A.3.4 The reading should be based on the cut of the sample filter paper; if the cut of the sample end face is not even, the average of the maximum and minimum values should be taken. A.3.5 Repeat the steps of A.3.3 to A.3.4 and test a total of 30 samples. Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
