3 Technical requirements
3.1 Materials

The materials for the relevant parts of the pulley shall conform to the provisions of Table 1. 3.2 Appearance
The surface of the pulley shall be smooth and flat, and sharp edges and risers shall be removed. The pulley shall not have defects that affect the performance and damage the appearance (such as pores, cracks, looseness, slag inclusions, casting scars, etc.).

The pulley should be annealed to eliminate casting or welding stress. 3.4 Dimensional tolerance and surface roughness
The tolerance grade of the machining surface card tolerance size shall be m grade (medium grade) in GB/T1804, and the unmarked machining surface roughness Ru value shall be 25μm in GB/T1031.
3.5 Form and position tolerances
The shape and position tolerances of the pulley shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. 3.6 Assembly
The assembled pulley shall be able to rotate flexibly. 3.7 Others
The processed parts (inner hole, rope groove surface, etc.) and the exposed parts of the pulley shall be coated with anti-corrosion anti-rust oil; the unprocessed parts shall be coated with anti-rust paint.

Pulleys should be inspected by the technical inspection department of the manufacturer. For each set of pulleys manufactured, The dimensions, technical requirements and markings shall be checked and shall comply with the requirements of this standard.
5 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
5.1 Marking
Each pulley shall have a permanent and clear mark of the pulley standard number and the trademark of the manufacturer, and the mark shall be located in a conspicuous position on the pulley.
5.2 Packaging
The packaging of the pulley shall ensure that it is not damaged or corroded and shall comply with the provisions of GB/T13384. 5.3 Transportation
Pulleys shall be strictly prohibited from being bumped during transportation and shall not be damaged. 5.4 Storage
Pulleys shall be stored in a dry and ventilated place and shall not come into contact with acidic, alkaline or other corrosive substances; and shall be protected from rain, snow, water and long-term exposure to the sun.
