1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
JB/T 734094
This standard specifies the type and size of liquid level detectors, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements.
This standard is applicable to the detection of liquid level of water and oil containers with nominal pressures of 0.1MPa>0.1~1.6MPa,>1.6~10MPa,>10~31.5MPa.

3 Product classification
3.1 Product varieties and types
Liquid level detectors are divided into water level detectors and oil level detectors, and "S\" and "Y" are used to represent the category codes of the applicable medium water and oil respectively.
3.2 Detectors applicable to water media are classified according to the nominal pressure and the connection position with the container (left or right) There are five types of water level detectors: S1 type
normal pressure water level detector;
water level detector with nominal pressure pN>0.1~1.6MPa; S2 type
S3 type - water level detector with nominal pressure pr>1.6~10MPa; S4 type -
water level detector with nominal pressure Pw>10~31.5MPa, connected to the left side of the container; S5 type - water level detector with nominal pressure pn>10~31.5MPa, connected to the right side of the container. 3.3 Detectors for oil medium There are five types of oil level detectors according to the nominal pressure and the connection position (left or right) with the container: Y1 type -
Y2 type -
- normal pressure oil level detector;
- oil level detector with nominal pressure>0.1~1.6MPa; oil level detector with nominal pressure pN>1.6~10MPa; oil level detector with nominal pressure Ps>10~31.5MPa and connected to the left side of the container: Y5 type -
- oil level detector with nominal pressure>10~31.5MPa and connected to the right side of the container, 3.4

Type and size shall comply with the provisions of Figures 1 to 10. The connection size on the container shall comply with the provisions of Figures 11 and 12. Approved by the Ministry of Machinery Industry on July 18, 1994
