Shipbuilding Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China CB/T3624-94 Quality Requirements for Installation of Diesel Generator Sets Published on April 11, 1994 Published by China State Shipbuilding Corporation Implementation on October 1, 1994 Shipbuilding Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Quality Requirements for Installation of Diesel Generator Sets 1 Subject Content and Scope of Application This standard specifies the quality requirements for installation of marine diesel generator sets. 2 Preparation before Installation 2.1 Marine diesel generator sets should have a classification society certificate and a factory product certificate. CB/T3624-94 2.2 Before installing the unit, the base should be constructed according to the requirements of the drawings, the base should be derusted and painted, and the unit can be installed only after quality acceptance. 3 Installation of generator sets without a common base 3.1 When installing a generator set, the diesel engine is usually fixed first, and then the generator is connected to it in a center. At this time, the thickness of the generator gasket can be adjusted to align it. bzxz.net 3.2 The centering requirements of various connection types are based on the numbers provided by the manufacturer or the following table: mm Connection type Rigid connection Elastic connection 3.3 Metal gaskets of the unit 3.3.1 Fixed gaskets Plane clearance Axis offset Axis bend per meter 3.3.1.1 The fixed gasket should be flat in contact with the base panel before welding, and it should not be inserted when checked with a 0.1mm thick feeler gauge. 3.3.1.2 After the fixed pad is welded, the top surface of the fixed pad should be polished and corrected. When checking with a flat plate, a 0.05mm thick feeler gauge should not be inserted. The contact color points should be evenly distributed, with no less than 2 color points in each 25mmX25mm area, and the contact area should not be less than 70% of the total area. To facilitate the preparation of the movable pad, the upper plane of the fixed pad can be made to tilt outward with a slope of about 1:100. 3.3.2 Live pad 3.3.2.1 The thickness of the steel pad should not be less than 10mm. 3.3.2.2 The thickness of the cast iron pad should not be less than 18mm. 3.3.2.3 Requirements for the preparation of the live pad: Before the fixing bolts are tightened, check that the contact color points between the live pad and the fixed pad should be evenly distributed, with no less than 2 color points in each 25mm×25mm area, and the contact area should not be less than 70% of the total area. Check with a 0.05mm thick feeler gauge, and the insertion depth should not exceed 10mm. 3.4 Requirements for the number of bolts to be reamed The number of bolts to be reamed for diesel engines shall be no less than 15% of the total number of bolts according to the requirements of the manufacturer or the requirements of the drawings. The number of bolts to be reamed for generators shall be no less than 2, which may be replaced by 2 locating pins. Approved by China State Shipbuilding Corporation on April 11, 1994 and implemented on October 1, 1994 4 Installation of generator sets with a common base 4.1 Requirements for the use of metal pads are shown in Article 3.3. 4.2 Requirements for direct installation CB/T3624—94 When the base of a small unit is directly installed on the foundation, a metal fixing pad shall be placed between the base and the foundation. Before the fixing bolts are tightened, check that the gap between the base and the fixing pad is less than 0.5mm. It is allowed not to add a pad. If it is greater than 0.5mm, it is allowed to use no more than 3 thin copper pads, and it is not allowed to use half a pad. 4.3 Requirements for using shock-absorbing pads 4.3.1 Before installation, check that the shock-absorbing pads should have a classification society certificate and be within the valid service period. 4.3.2 The allowable height deviation of each shock-absorbing pad before installation: when the pad height is less than 63mm, the allowable deviation is ±1.5mm; when the pad height is 63~100mm, the allowable deviation is ±2.0mm. 4.3.3 After each shock-absorbing block is installed, before the fixing bolts of each shock-absorbing block are tightened, if the gap between the pad and the machine base or the gap between the pad and the base is less than 0.5mm, it is allowed not to add a gasket. If it is greater than 0.5mm, it is allowed to use no more than 3 thin copper pads, and it is not allowed to use half a gasket. 5 Installation requirements for epoxy resin plastic pads 5.1 The material of epoxy resin plastic pads should be approved by the ship inspection department. 5.2 According to the applicable scope and performance provided by the epoxy resin plastic pad manufacturer, and according to the pouring process of the epoxy resin pad, pouring is completed. After the pad is solidified, the hardness of the test block is measured, and the hardness is about 40 degrees Barthel. After the fastening bolts are tightened, the compression of the pad should be less than 1/1000. 6 Inspection after unit installation After the unit is installed, check the crankshaft arm distance difference of the diesel engine in a cold state, which should not exceed the recommended value of the manufacturer.
