Standard of the Fourth Machinery Industry Department of the People's Republic of China
RX--32 Microwave Gas Discharge Tube
SJ1T23-81
This standard applies to RX-32 microwave gas discharge tube (hereinafter referred to as switch tube): the tube is the pre-protection switch tube of the 10cm band receiver and is used in the radar equipment of the 72.14mm×34.04mm waveguide system.
This standard is a supplement to SJ343-73 "General Technical Conditions for Microwave Gas Discharge Tubes" (hereinafter referred to as general technical conditions). Except for the contents specified in this standard, the rest shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the general technical conditions. 1. The outer dimensions of the switch tube shall comply with the provisions of the outer dimensions (Figure 1). 2. The parameters of the switch tube shall comply with the provisions of the parameter specification table. 3. Test of glass and metal sealing quality (SJ343-73, Article 5 (1)) Take 5 switch tubes (switch tubes with the same process and qualified total leakage power but unqualified other parameters are allowed) for single test. After the test, the glass should not burst and the leakage power is within the grid, then the test is qualified; if more than one is unqualified, it is considered as routine test failure. If only one is unqualified, 5 more tubes are allowed to be retested. All 5 tubes should be qualified and the test is qualified. Otherwise, the test is unqualified (all samples that have passed this test are not allowed to leave the factory). 4. High temperature test of switch tubes is to place the non-working switch tubes at an ambient temperature of 70±2℃ for 2 hours, and then let them stand at room temperature for 2 hours. There should be no mechanical damage, coating peeling and metal parts rust. The model and other markings should be clear and firm, and the total leakage power should meet the requirements of the parameter specification table.
5. Impact test: acceleration is 6g, impact frequency is 60 times/min, and impact is 500 times in vertical and horizontal directions respectively.
6. For the sealing test of the switch tube cooler, one end of the connecting tube is closed and the other end is connected to air at two atmospheric pressures. It is immersed in water for 3 minutes and no bubbles should appear. 7. The amplitude recovery time is calculated based on the attenuation of the switch tube to the receiving signal of 3dB. 8. The weight of the switch tube is checked once a year.
9. During the life test, the standard parameters of the life test are tested at 125, 188, 210, 220, 225, and 250 hours respectively.
SJ1723-81
10. When the output of the switch tube is less than 100 per quarter (or for three consecutive months), the routine test shall be carried out once every six months (or for six consecutive months). The acceptance rules shall be carried out in accordance with Articles 17, 18 and 19 of the General Technology (SJ343-73).
11. When the output of switch tubes is less than 100 per quarter (or for three consecutive months), the life test shall be carried out once every six months (or for six consecutive months), and the acceptance rules shall be carried out in accordance with Articles 22 and 23 of the General Technology (SJ943-79).
12. When using switch tubes, soft metal washers should be added to their connection surfaces to ensure good electrical contact.
13. Switch tubes should be forced to cool when in use. When subjected to a pulse power of 2MW or an average power of 3kW, the switch tube must be cooled with water with a flow rate of not less than 0.B liters/minute, and air with a flow rate of not less than 20 liters/minute should be supplied through a 5mm hole on the waveguide wall opposite the switch tube input window for cooling.
14. Articles 3, 5 (2), 7 (2) and 10 of SJ343-73 are not applicable to this standard.
