Some standard content:

GB/T 5048—1999
Moisture-proof packaging is a protective measure taken to protect industrial products such as machinery and electronics from being damaged by humid atmosphere during circulation. This standard mainly revised the following contents when GB/T5048—1985 (Moisture-proof packaging) was revised: the moisture-proof packaging grade classification I, 1, and I in the original standard was revised to moisture-proof grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3 packaging. Appendix A in the original standard was cancelled.
The selection of desiccant was revised to Appendix A (suggestive appendix. This standard will replace GB/T5048—1985 from the date of implementation. Appendix A of this standard is a suggestive appendix.
This standard is issued by China National Packaging Corporation This standard is proposed. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Packaging Standardization Technical Committee. The responsible drafting units of this standard are: Mechanical Science Research Institute, Hangzhou Lin'an Special Adsorbent Factory, Changzhou Sinochem Qinfeng Plastic Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are: Li Xuelong, Jia Xinlong, Zhang Xiaojian, Zhou Junsen, Zhang Fuqiang. This standard was first issued on April 10, 1985. 397

Appendix A
(Suggested Appendix)
Selection of desiccant
Simple calculation of general desiccant The dosage is calculated according to formula (A1): W-
Where: W--
