According to the requirements of the State Planning Commission's document [1989] No. 30, the "Gas Fire Extinguishing System Construction and Acceptance Specification" jointly formulated by the Ministry of Public Security and relevant departments has been reviewed by relevant departments. The "Gas Fire Extinguishing System Construction and Acceptance Specification" GB50263-97 is now approved as a mandatory national standard and will be implemented from August 1, 1997. The Ministry of Public Security is responsible for the management of this specification, and the Ministry of Public Security's Tianjin Fire Science Research Institute is responsible for its specific interpretation, and the Ministry of Construction's Standards and Quotas Research Institute is responsible for its publication and distribution.

1.0.1. This code is formulated to ensure the construction quality of the gas fire extinguishing system and protect the safety of people and property in the installation site.
2 This specification applies to the construction, acceptance and maintenance management of carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems, halon 1211 fire extinguishing systems and halon 1301 fire extinguishing systems installed in industrial and civil buildings.
1.0.3 The construction and acceptance of gas fire extinguishing systems shall comply with relevant national laws, regulations and policies, and be safe, practical, technologically advanced and economically reasonable. 1.0.4 In addition to implementing the provisions of this specification, the construction and acceptance of gas fire extinguishing systems shall also comply with the provisions of current national standards and specifications. Construction Preparation
2.1 General Provisions
2.1.1 The following technical information shall be available before the construction of a gas fire extinguishing system: 2.1.1.1 Design drawings, design specifications, and instructions for use and maintenance of the system and its main components.
2.1.1.2Product factory certificates and inspection reports issued by the National Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center for system components such as container valves, selector valves, check valves, nozzles and valve drive devices; factory inspection reports and certificates for fire extinguishing agent delivery pipelines and pipeline accessories. 2.1.1.3Products used in the system that cannot be retested, such as safety diaphragms, etc., should have inspection reports and certificates for the same batch of products issued by the manufacturer. 2The construction of the gas fire extinguishing system should meet the following conditions: 2.1.2
2.1.2.1The setting conditions of the protection area and the fire extinguishing agent storage bottle room are consistent with the design. 2.1.2.2
2The system components and main materials are complete, and their varieties, specifications and models meet the design requirements.

2.2.1 Before the construction of the gas fire extinguishing system, the appearance of the system components such as the fire extinguishing agent storage container, container valve, selection valve, check valve, nozzle and valve drive device shall be inspected and shall comply with the following provisions:
2.2.1.1 The system components shall be free of collision deformation and other mechanical damage. 2.2.1.2 The protective coating on the exposed non-machined surface of the components shall be intact. 2.2.1.3 All exposed interfaces of the components shall be equipped with protective plugs and covers, and shall be well sealed, and the interface threads and flange sealing surfaces shall be free of damage.

2.2.1.4 The nameplate shall be clear, and its content shall comply with the provisions of the corresponding current national standards "Design Specifications for Halon 1211 Fire Extinguishing Systems" GBJ110, "Design Specifications for Halon 1301 Fire Extinguishing Systems) GB50163 and "Design Specifications for Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishing Systems" GB50193. 2.2.1.5 The specifications of the fire extinguishing agent storage containers protecting the same protection zone shall be consistent, and the height difference shall not exceed 20mm.
2.2.1.6 The specifications of the gas storage containers of the pneumatic drive device shall be consistent, and the height difference shall not exceed 10mm.
2.2.2 The filling amount and filling pressure in the fire extinguishing agent storage container shall be checked before the installation of the gas fire extinguishing system, and shall comply with the following provisions: 2.2.2.1 The filling amount of the fire extinguishing agent storage container shall not be less than the designed filling amount, and shall not exceed 1.5% of the designed filling amount.
2.2.2.2 The actual pressure in the halogenated hydrocarbon fire extinguishing agent storage container shall not be lower than the storage pressure at the corresponding temperature, and shall not exceed 5% of the storage pressure. 2.2.2.3 The storage pressure of the fire extinguishing agent at different temperatures shall be determined in accordance with Appendix A of this specification.
Note: The pressure not specified in this specification refers to the gauge pressure. 3 Before installing the gas fire extinguishing system, the selector valve, liquid check valve, high-pressure hose 2.2.3
and the gas check valve in the valve drive device shall be subjected to water pressure strength test and gas pressure tightness test one by one, and shall comply with the following provisions:
2.2.3.1 The test pressure of the water pressure strength test shall be 1.5 times the design working pressure of the system components, and the test pressure of the gas pressure tightness test shall be the design working pressure of the system components.
2.2.3.2 When conducting the water pressure strength test, the water temperature shall not be lower than 5℃. After reaching the test pressure, the pressure stabilization time shall not be less than min, and the test piece shall not be deformed during the pressure stabilization period. 2.2.3.3 The gas pressure tightness test shall be carried out after the water pressure strength test. The pressurized medium can be air or nitrogen. During the test, the system components should be immersed in water. 2.2.4 Before installing the gas fire extinguishing system, the valve drive device should be inspected and should comply with the following regulations:
2.2.4.1 The power supply voltage of the electromagnetic drive device shall meet the system design requirements. Check the electromagnetic core after power on. Its stroke shall meet the system startup requirements and the action shall be flexible and without obstruction.

3 Construction
3.1 General Provisions
3.1.1 The construction of the gas fire extinguishing system shall be carried out in accordance with the design and construction drawings and relevant technical documents, and shall not be changed at will. When modifications are required, the original design unit shall agree. 3.1.2 The construction of the gas fire extinguishing system shall keep construction records in accordance with the contents specified in Appendix B of this specification. Pipes under the floor of the protection area, on the ceiling or in other hidden knocking areas should be recorded in the intermediate acceptance of concealed works according to the contents specified in Appendix C of this specification. The table forms of Appendix B and Appendix C of this specification can be adjusted according to the structural form of the gas fire extinguishing system and the specific conditions of the protection area. 3.1.3 In addition to complying with the provisions of this specification, the production of manifolds, the installation of valves and high-pressure hoses, the production and installation of pipelines and brackets, and the purging, testing and painting of pipelines should also comply with the relevant provisions of the current national standard "Industrial Pipeline Engineering Construction and Acceptance Specifications" GBJ235.
2 Installation of fire extinguishing agent storage containers
Fire extinguishing agent filling and pressurization in storage containers should be completed at the production plant. 3.2.2

3.3 Manifold Fabrication and Installation
3.3.1 The manifold of the combined distribution system should be manufactured by welding. Before welding, each opening should be manufactured by machining. Manifolds made of steel pipes should be galvanized inside and outside after welding. The quality of the galvanized layer should comply with the relevant provisions of the current national standard "Galvanized Welded Steel Pipes for Low-Pressure Fluid Transportation" GB3091.
3.3.2 The manifold of the combined distribution system shall be subjected to water pressure strength test and air pressure tightness test in accordance with the provisions of Article 2.2.3 of this Code. 3.3.3 The strength test and air pressure tightness test of the manifold of the non-combined distribution system can be carried out together with the pipeline.
