GB/T 19608.1—2004
Classification of special environmental conditions Part 1: Extreme heat" is one of the series of national standards developed by the national science and technology basic work project "Material standards for extreme (special) environmental conditions" mainly for the development and construction of western my country. This part specifies the environmental zeros and severity levels of electromechanical products in extreme (special) environmental conditions. Various types of products shall select the applicable items and levels according to the degree of environmental impact they are subjected to.
IEC publication 60721·2·1 "Classification of environmental conditions: natural environmental conditions, temperature and humidity" divides the world into 9 climate types, 6 of which exist in my country, with special natural environments. Among them, dry and hot areas account for a large proportion in northwest my country, and extreme heat environmental conditions will have a great impact on the use of electromechanical products. Therefore, electromechanical products used in hot and dry environmental conditions must have good environmental adaptability and should have corresponding protective functions. These special natural environments have a great impact on the material products under normal conditions. It has a great impact on the normal use of substances under special environmental conditions. In the past, China did not conduct much research on the performance of some substances and basic equipment in the above-mentioned special natural environments. There is still a gap in basic research on special conditions, research on the adaptability of materials and equipment to special conditions, and the formulation of these basic standards, including the determination and classification of condition limits, simulation test methods, and technical measures to ensure the normal use of substances under extreme conditions. There is a lack of systematic collection and research on data for special conditions such as plateaus, dry heat, and deserts, as well as a lack of systematic research on the serious harm caused by special conditions to the supporting infrastructure of major industrial projects. If these problems are not solved, it will directly affect the implementation of major engineering projects in my country under special conditions. The "Material Standards for Extreme (Special) Environmental Conditions" project is expected to be completed through the study of special environmental conditions such as plateaus, dry heat, and deserts. Research on basic engineering materials and electromechanical products, and formulation of basic national standards. The content involves the standardization system of plateau electromechanical equipment, special environmental terms, classification of special environmental conditions, general rules for protective shells, guidelines for artificial simulation tests of high altitude seas, metal materials, polymer materials, important electromechanical equipment, and plateau adaptability requirements of engineering machinery and equipment. A total of 25 national standards have been completed or are in progress: (1) Special environmental conditions terms have been submitted for approval) (2) Classification of special environmental conditions (high source) (has been published) (3) Classification of special environmental conditions (dry heat) (has been published) (4) Classification of special environmental conditions (heat) has been published) (5) "Special environmental conditions protection types and codes\ (has been published) (6) "Special environmental conditions environmental test methods Part 1: General (mountain submission for approval) (7) Special environmental conditions, environmental test methods Part 2: Artificial simulation test methods and guidelines for electrical and electronic products (including communication equipment) have been submitted for approval)

The terms and definitions established in GB/T 11804 apply to this part. 4 Environmental conditions
4.1 Classification of environmental conditions
Thermal environmental conditions are divided into 6 types: climatic conditions. Special climatic conditions, biological conditions, chemically active substance conditions, mechanically active substance conditions, mechanical conditions,
4.2 Classification of environmental conditions
Each type of environmental condition is composed of multiple environmental parameters. For example, climatic conditions are composed of high temperature, low temperature, temperature change, solar radiation intensity and other environmental parameters. Each environmental parameter can be divided into different levels according to the different environments. For example, the solar radiation intensity is divided into two levels: 700W/m2 and 1120W/m2.
4.3 Environmental codes
4.3.1 Environmental condition characteristics are expressed by environmental codes. Environmental codes consist of three parts: product use location, environmental condition type, and environmental condition severity level, which are represented by numbers or Latin letters. The order is as follows: a) transportation and use location (represented by numbers); b) environmental condition type (represented by Latin letters); c) environmental condition severity level (represented by numbers or numbers and Latin letters). 4.3.2 is in accordance with G/T4798.10-19913.2, the places of transportation and use of products are indicated by the numbers 2, 3 and 4: 2 indicates small product transportation items:
-3 indicates that the product is used in a fixed place with weather protection (indoors or under a shed), and ..4 indicates that the product is used in a fixed place without weather protection (outdoor). 4.3.3 According to the provisions of 3.2 in GB/T4798, 10-1991, the types of environmental conditions are indicated by Latin letters: GB/T 19608.1-2004
-K indicates climatic conditions;
-..Z indicates special climatic conditions (heat radiation, ambient air movement, water sources other than rain), --- B indicates biological conditions;
C indicates chemically active substance conditions;
S indicates mechanically active substance conditions;
M indicates mechanical conditions.
4.3.4 According to the provisions of 3.2 of GB/T 4798.10-1991, the severity of environmental conditions is expressed by numbers. The larger the number, the more severe the conditions.

Extreme maximum temperature refers to the highest air temperature that occurs once every few years and lasts for about 10 years. Hot areas such as Tuzifan have experienced an extreme maximum temperature of 48 hours. The annual maximum temperature refers to the multi-year average temperature of the highest humidity that occurs each year. The average maximum temperature of the hottest month refers to the average monthly maximum temperature that occurs in the hottest month of the season. 4.4.2 Special climatic conditions The severity of special climatic conditions is shown in Table 2. Table 2 Severity of special climatic conditions Environmental factors Thermal radiation Air quality, Other water source conditions other than rain 4.4.3 Biological conditions There are heat radiation conditions in places with no climate protection, such as indoor heating systems or near boilers. Heat radiation conditions can be ignored. There are heat radiation conditions in places without climate protection, such as heat radiation generated by production conditions. In hot areas, the climate is dry, and there is no harm from bacteria and fungi. The main harm is from rats and other rodents. The severity level of biological conditions is shown in Table 3. Guide to the application of special environmental conditions
4.1.1 This part refers to the corresponding clauses of GB/T4798.3—1090.GB/T4798.4-1990, and specifies the environmental parameters and severity levels of climatic conditions, special climatic conditions, biological conditions, chemically active substance conditions, mechanically active substance conditions and mechanical conditions under dry hot environmental conditions.
A1.2 The codes of environmental condition levels are arranged in order from low to high according to the severity of the environmental parameters. The larger the code, the higher the severity. The higher the severity level, the lower the severity level. A.1.3 This part classifies dry hot environmental conditions. The main influences of thermal environment conditions on electromechanical products are dust, high humidity (air temperature and surface temperature), strong solar radiation (for outdoor products) and large daily temperature difference. All kinds of products should select appropriate parameters according to their characteristics and the influence of the monthly environment. For example, the maximum temperature of thermal protection relays and some electrical products that are sensitive to high temperatures should be selected as the extreme maximum value; the maximum temperature of products that will be affected by temperature rise can be the multi-year average of the most commercial temperature; products such as internal combustion engines that require air input for combustion must consider the influence of dust; products used in outdoor environments must consider the influence of strong solar radiation.
A.1.4 Special climatic conditions, biological conditions, chemically active material conditions, mechanically active material conditions and mechanical environmental conditions are determined according to the local environmental conditions around the product when it is used. They need to be considered in product design and selection in order to select the appropriate product protection type.
