2000-10-01 Implementation
SY/T 5400.2—2000
This standard is based on the implementation of the first published SY5400-91 casing power needle for oil drilling, and is revised to adapt to product improvement and meet domestic and foreign market needs after summarizing the experience in manufacturing and use, and directly adopting the relevant provisions of APIStC7K "Drilling Equipment Specification" involving casing tongs design, manufacturing and testing. This standard revised the original standard hydraulic drive to axillary gas driven double jaw open type and three jaw movable type as the basic type of casing tongs, realizing non-stop shifting operation between 2 and 3 gears. In addition, the following contents have been revised: 1) The name of the standard has been changed to "Power Tongs for Oil Drilling and Repair", which includes the following 3 parts: Part 1 (i.e. SYT5400.1): Drill pipe tongs; Part 2 (i.e. SY/T5400.2): Casing tongs; Part 3 (i.e. SY/T5400.3): Tubing tongs. This standard is Part 2.
2) The same method as AP1Spec:7K is used to indicate the model by the applicable pipe diameter and maximum torque, and the specifications are adjusted. 3) For the tooth plate of important vulnerable parts, the unified provisions of the tooth angle and arc are added, and the life index is stipulated. 4) The relative deformation of the opening size replaces the absolute value, which is convenient for the operability of different grades of product testing. 5) According to actual needs, the 100-time maximum torque test is modified to 50-time maximum torque make-up and make-off tests, and the overload test is cancelled.
6) The content of the inspection rules has been improved, the content of the inspection and type inspection is distinguished, and the full inspection, sampling inspection methods and judgment rules are clarified.
From the date of implementation, this standard will also replace SY5400-91. This standard is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Petroleum Drilling and Production Equipment and Tools. Drafting units of this standard: Lanzhou Petroleum Machinery Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry and Jiangsu Rudong Petroleum Machinery Factory. The main drafters of this standard are Tang Shangzhi, Liu Zhigang, Tang Jian, Shen Hui and Yang Jun. The original standard SY 5400-91 was first issued in November 1991. This is the first revision. After the revision, the standard number is changed to SY/T5400.2-2000.
