1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods and determination of the number of static pressure life tests for industrial plug valves. This standard is applicable to static pressure life tests of plug valves with a nominal pressure of PNs10.0MPa: 2 Normative references

4.3 The test medium is water at room temperature: The test medium uses air. The opening pressure difference during the test should be controlled according to the rated pressure difference of the valve. 4.4 The non-rush valve is operated in a certain way. When conducting the static discharge test, the operating device equipped with it shall be carried out together with the valve for opening and closing cycle test. The weak-motion mechanism of the dynamic plug valve shall be directly driven by a mechanical (wheel) or driven by a worm gear seat structure: The handwheel of the worm gear reduction mechanism: The plug valve shall be driven by an electric, pneumatic or other electro-hydraulic linkage device. The operating device equipped with it shall drive the plug valve for opening and closing cycle test. 4.5 During the static pressure life test, starting from the fully closed position, the height of the valve shall be selected to its actual opening. 4.B Static pressure life test: from the open position to the closed process, the body cavity should be filled with medium without being carried out, the medium pressure should be 90%-1% of the valve's rated pressure, after reaching the closed position, the medium pressure should be released on the outlet side. The load-carrying plug valve is designed under the following three conditions of the test medium: When the rated pressure difference is required, the rated pressure shall be used as the test pressure difference during the test; 4.7 During the test, the control opening position shall be output, and the repetitive deviation of the grip position shall be less than 1”; 4.8 During the test, the maximum opening and closing force obtained by the tight operation test shall be used for operation. The operating torque shall not exceed the torque that the drive wheel equipped with the plug can produce or the operating torque specified in the product standard. The repetitive error of the test output force of the drive wheel shall be less than ±%.
4.9 During the static pressure life test, the sealing performance and operating torque shall be checked once every 200-300 opening and closing cycles based on the characteristics of the operating and sealing pair materials. After the sealing performance is qualified, continue the test: For manually lifted valves, if the operating force changes greatly, it can be weakened; for plugs operated by other media, a skilled person shall be employed To be adjusted. 4.10 If the plug valve has flow installation requirements, it should be installed with the required flow. 4.11 The record of the number of static pressure life tests should be recorded by an electric counter based on the signal provided by a life tester or an electric hydraulic, pneumatic or other feedback air linkage device driven stability meter. 5 Test method
5.1 Install the plug valve and determine the position requirement when closing the plug valve. 5.2 Under the conditions of 1U0% differential pressure and special pressure (or rated pressure difference), use a force gauge to measure the maximum operating torque when opening and closing the plug valve. Check three times and take the maximum value. 5.3 Adjust the opening and closing position and output torque of the drive mechanism. 5.4 After 200 to 300 opening and closing cycles, check the leakage of the seal. If the operating torque changes, the output torque of the drive mechanism should be adjusted in time to meet the sealing requirements. When the torque increases to the point where one person cannot operate the valve with the handwheel, the test is stopped. 6 Determination of the number of static pressure life tests
6.1 Cross-stop test

6.2 Number of static pressure life tests
6.2.1 After reaching the required number of tests, if the performance of the plug meets the standard requirements, this test number shall be used as the static life test number. 6.22 If during the test, abnormal conditions occur or the performance does not meet the standard requirements, the corresponding opening and closing times of the inspection shall be stopped. The number of cycles is the number of static pressure life tests.
