This standard specifies the basic information that should be included in the labels or accessories on the containers (boxes or cartons, etc.) of motion-plicture film and magnetic materials, with the purpose of identifying the name, content and technical characteristics of the motion-plicture film and magnetic materials contained in the containers. The term "motion-plicture film and magnetic materials" used in this standard includes: exchange film distribution copies and television film copies; all types of processed film materials and magnetic materials for production, such as picture source base, picture positive, picture reverse base, picture reverse reverse base or reverse copy positive film, sound base, original sound magnetic base, etc. This standard does not apply to containers of unprocessed electro-color films and magnetic materials. This standard also specifies the English abbreviations that may be used in the international exchange of films. 2 Labels or attachments must include the following items: (i) company or institution name, address, telephone number, department name, date: (ii) film type (feature film, news film, documentary, science and education film, art film); (iii) material name (distribution copy, original picture, picture reprint, picture reprint, picture reversal reprint or picture reversal copy positive film, sound background, original sound magnetic negative film name or series ear name); (iv) sub-titles and editing of sub-titles that need to be marked No.: Film width:
