Introduction to standards:

my country's environmental sanitation industry started late, and there is a blank in the monitoring method of organic matter in urban domestic waste. The monitoring method of soil is generally borrowed, but the characteristics of soil and domestic waste are different. In order to standardize and normalize the determination method of organic matter in urban domestic waste, this standard is specially formulated. This standard stipulates the principle and main steps of determining the organic matter content by the combustion method. This standard is applicable to the determination of organic matter in urban domestic waste. my country's environmental sanitation industry started late, and the monitoring method of organic matter in municipal domestic refuse is a blank in China. The monitoring method of soil is generally used for reference, but the characteristics of soil and domestic refuse are different. In order to normalize and standardize the determination method of organic matter in municipal domestic refuse, this standard is specially formulated.
This standard was proposed by the Standard and Quota Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Shanghai Municipal Environmental Sanitation Administration, the technical unit responsible for urban environmental sanitation standards of the Ministry of Construction.
This standard was drafted by the Tianjin Environmental Sanitation Engineering Design Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Yao Qingjun and Zhang Fan. This standard is entrusted to the Tianjin Environmental Sanitation Engineering Design Institute for interpretation. Engineering Construction Standard Full-text Information System

The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the versions shown are valid. All standards will be revised, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest version of the following standards. CJ/T3039—1995 Sampling and physical analysis methods of urban domestic waste. Sample collection and preparation
Sample collection, moisture content determination and sample storage shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of CJ/T3039. When preparing organic matter analysis samples, inactive substances such as plastics should be eliminated. 4 Principle
The organic matter in garbage can be regarded as the loss on burning at a high temperature of 600℃. Approved by the Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China on November 24, 1999, and implemented on June 1, 2000.

5 Instruments
a) Muffle furnace;
b) 25mL porcelain crucible;
c) Analytical balance;
d) Desiccator.
Operation steps
Weigh 2.0g of sample, accurate to 0.0001g, and place it in a porcelain crucible that has been weighed to a constant weight (the crucible is burned empty for 2h). Put it in a muffle furnace and heat it to 600℃. After keeping the temperature constant for 6 to 8h, take out the crucible and move it to a desiccator. After cooling, weigh it. Put the crucible back into the muffle furnace and burn it at the same temperature for 10min. Cool it and weigh it again until it weighs a constant weight. Expression of analysis results
The content of organic matter α(%) is calculated as follows: C=
msample (1+c)
Wherein: the content of organic matter in c sample, %; m—weight of crucible and dried sample, g;
m2——weight of crucible and burned sample, 8;
c——the percentage of plastic in the dry basis of garbage, %; msample—weighing weight, g.
The result should be expressed to four decimal places.
