Size system of opening
for doors and windows in BuildingUDC69.028:389
GB5824-86
The series of dimensions of building doors and windows openings is the prerequisite for coordinating the design, manufacture, construction and installation of construction projects and related doors, windows and their components and accessories, and plays a guiding role in the industrialized production and commercial supply of doors, windows and their components and accessories. 1 Scope of application
1.1 This standard is applicable to industrial and civil buildings and structures with various types of internal and external walls, and is used for the design, manufacture, construction and installation of building doors, windows and related components and accessories. 1.2 When it is difficult to implement this standard in the following situations, it should be implemented as a reference: 1.2.1 Reconstruction and expansion of existing buildings;
1.2.2 Buildings with special use functions and artistic processing requirements; 1.2.3 Township residential buildings using local materials and traditional practices. 2 Explanation of terms
See Figures 1 and 2 for the explanation of terms.
2.1 Door and window opening size series
is a series of sizes that determine the width and height of door and window openings and the specified specifications composed of them. The units of the width (B) and height (A) of the door and window opening marking dimensions are in millimeters.
2.1.1 Door and window opening width and height positioning line
is the position line of the door and window opening width and height marking dimensions, which serves as the main basis for coordinating the door and window opening structural dimensions and the doors and windows. 2.1.2 The width and height structural dimensions of the door and window opening refer to the net width (B1) and net height (A1) dimensions of the opening. 2.1.3 The width and height structural dimensions of the door and window
refers to the width (B2) and height (A2) dimensions of the door and window appearance. 2.2 The specification model of the door and window opening
is represented by a four-digit number consisting of the thousandth and first hundredth digits of the width and height of the door and window opening markings, arranged in sequence. For example: when the width of the door and window opening is 1500mm and the height is 2400mm, the model is 1524. 2.3 The gap size of the door and window construction installation is represented by J. In order to distinguish the different gap sizes between the door and window opening positioning line and the door and window opening or the door and window edge, they are represented by J1, J2, and. respectively.
2.4 Window door
is a combination of door and window. The total width of the opening mark should comply with the door opening mark width parameter. 2.5 Non-rectangular door and window
is a door or window whose shape is not rectangular.
3 Building door and window opening size series
Includes the basic parameters and auxiliary parameters of the width and height of building door and window openings, and the selected basic specifications and auxiliary specifications are composed of these parameters. National Bureau of Standards issued on January 31, 1986

The building door opening size series is shown in Table 1.
3.2 See Table 2 for the size series of building window openings. 4 Principles and requirements for adopting this standard
When compiling door and window designs (including standard designs of doors and windows at all levels) and door and window product catalogs, the size series of door and window openings in this standard should be selected based on factors such as the material, performance, and quality grade standards of the doors and windows being compiled; at the same time, the relationship between the width and height structural dimensions of the doors and windows and the positioning lines of the door and window openings should be indicated, as well as the installation forms, methods, and installation gap sizes of various types of walls of different materials that can be adapted, or in order to ensure the quality of the project, principles and requirements related to the above situations should be proposed. 5 In the following situations, this standard should be adopted as a reference
5.1 The specifications of the 600mm series of door opening mark width are also applicable to the opening specifications of the small door leaf on the door. 5.2 For the opening width parameter of vertical skylight, the basic parameter of window opening width can be selected; for the height parameter of the mark, five basic parameters of 900, 1200, 1500, 1800, 2400mm and two auxiliary parameters of 3000 and 3600mm can be selected. 5.3 For the opening width and height parameters of non-vertical side windows and skylight, the parameters of window opening width and height can be selected with reference to the parameters of window opening width and height. 5.4 For the opening width and height parameters of the circumscribed rectangular door and window of non-rectangular doors and windows, the parameters of door and window opening width and height can be selected with reference to the parameters of door and window opening width and height (see Figure 1e).

Selection Instructions
(Supplement)
A.1 Several issues related to the positioning lines of door and window openings A.1.1 The width and height structural dimensions of door and window openings or doors and windows are based on the door The width and height of the window opening are based on the positioning line, and are determined according to the installation form, installation method and installation structural gap between them. Generally speaking (see Figure 2 of this standard): A.1.1.1 The width and height structural dimensions of the door and window opening or the door and window are related to the opening method and installation form of the door and window. They are respectively greater than, equal to or less than the width and height marking dimensions of the door and window opening; A.1.1.2 The width and height structural dimensions of the door and window opening or the door and window are sometimes related to the installation method between them. The common construction methods are flat joint, groove joint and overlap joint; A.1.1.3 The width and height structural dimensions of the door and window opening and the door and window are ultimately determined by the installation form and installation method adopted, according to the material, structure and functional grade standards of the door and window and the wall, and after reasonably arranging the building installation structural gap. A.1.2 The door and window opening positioning line is the basis for coordinating the gap between the opening and the door and window edge and the building installation structure gap (see Figure 1 and Figure 2 of this standard). The situation is usually:
A.1.2.1 The distance between the horizontal positioning lines of the door and window openings (i.e. the marking size of the door and window opening width) is equal to, greater than or less than the structural size of the door and window opening width;
A.1.2.2 The upper positioning line of the door and window opening height marking size is equal to the top surface of the opening (generally the bottom surface of various walls and beams) or the bottom surface of various walls and beams. A.1.2.3 The lower positioning line of the height mark size of the door opening (including the French window opening) coincides with the floor elevation, or is higher than the elevation;
A.1.2.4 The lower positioning line of the height mark size of the window opening (generally the window sill height positioning line) is higher than the top surface of various walls, or coincides with the positioning line of the top surface of various walls and various wall panels, or is lower than the top surface of the wall where the window and wall are cast at the same time. A.2 Others
When used by architectural engineering design and door and window product design and production units: A.2.1 As far as possible, the basic specifications of this standard should be used first, and the auxiliary specifications should be used secondly, and the number of specifications should be reduced to make them relatively concentrated; if the specifications of this standard cannot be used due to functional needs, the series of basic parameters and auxiliary parameters of width and height marked in this standard should be determined by referring to the specifications of adjacent door and window openings. A.2.2 The width and height structural dimensions of basic doors and windows and basic door and window sashes within a certain range shall be determined according to this standard and the specifications and structural requirements of the door and window frames or horizontal and vertical splicing materials used. A.2.3 When the architectural engineering design refers to the relevant door and window designs (including standard door and window designs at all levels) and the self-recording of door and window products according to the engineering conditions, it shall verify and confirm a certain installation form, installation method and installation structural gap size. If there is any non-compliance with the engineering conditions, it shall ensure that the selected door and window structural conditions are not changed, and make supplementary or revised designs. A.2.4 When the construction and installation unit is carrying out the construction, if there is any objection to certain structural requirements, it shall be raised to the engineering designer in advance, and after obtaining consent, adjustments shall be made.
A.2.5 When organizing the production and supply of raw materials, processing and manufacturing, processing technology and processing equipment for doors and windows, the specifications, scale or production conditions shall be reasonably determined according to this standard and relevant standards in combination with their respective characteristics to achieve the purpose of industrialized production.
