3 Definitions and symbols
3.1 Definitions
Technical conditions for tinned steel sheet round canned containers This standard adopts the definitions in GB/T13040—1991 and the following definitions. 3.1.1 Three-piece can with easy open end A metal coating can made by connecting the easy open end, bottom cover and body. 3.1.2 Striped can
A can with a coating can with a coating can welded.
3.1.3 Sprayed can
A can with a coating can welded. 3.1.4 Splash point
When moving welding, the welding temperature is too high, so that the center temperature of the welding point reaches or exceeds the melting point of iron, and the molten metal is squeezed out and thrown out. Commonly known as burrs.
3.1.5 Cold welding
When the welding temperature is too low, the two thin steel plates to be welded fail to reach the state of plastic melting (only tin is melted). Commonly known as false welding or virtual welding. 3.1.6 Pin hole
During welding, the hot melted tin-plated steel sheet cools slower than the shrinkage of the tin-plated steel sheet, thus forming a penetrating hole. 3.1.7 Puncture
Approved by the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision on December 2, 1998 142
Implemented on June 1, 1999
GB/T 17590—1998
Individual welding points in the weld are melted and perforated due to the sudden excessive welding current (such as caused by residual coating, etc.). 3.1.8 Miss-welding
No current flows through one or more welding points in the weld. 3.1.9 Stripe
An anti-corrosion coating applied on the weld and its sides by roller coating, spray coating, flow coating or electrostatic spraying. 3.1.10 The enamel rate of the inner coating integrity is expressed as defect current. The current caused by the appearance of unnecessary micropores on the surface of the inner coating due to improper raw materials and processing technology. 3.2 Symbols
