Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China HG/T2749—1996 Acid Brilliant Orange (Acid Orange I) Published on April 8, 1996 Implemented on January 1, 1997 Published by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China WHG/T2749—1996 This standard is revised on the basis of GB/T1641-82. This standard modifies the writing format of the original standard in accordance with the provisions of GB/T1.1-1993. The dyeing fastness of Acid Brilliant Orange GR on wool fabrics specified in the standard are all the results of testing using the current national standards. This standard adds the index requirements for granular formulation dyes to the requirements. This standard is adjusted to the industry standard after revision. From the date of implementation of this standard, the original GB/T1641-82 will be abolished. This standard is proposed by the Technical Supervision Department of the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the technical jurisdiction of Shenyang Chemical Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. This standard was drafted by Tianjin Dyeing and Chemical Plant No. 3 and Shenyang Chemical Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Wang Xiuqin and Bai Jiao. This standard was first issued in April 1965, adjusted from a ministerial standard to a national standard in October 1979, and revised again in 1982. 1 W.bzsoso.cOm1 Scope Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Acid Brilliant Orange (Acid Orange I) HG/T2749—1996 This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of Acid Brilliant Orange GR. Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on April 8, 1996, and implemented on January 1, 1997 W.bzsoso, cOmHG/T2749—1996 3.2 The quality indicators of Acid Brilliant Orange GR shall comply with the requirements of Table 1. Table 1 Quality index Shade (with standard) Intensity (for standard), points Content of impurities insoluble in water, % Moisture content, % Fineness (content of residue passing 180μm sieve), %Note: Fineness of granular dyes is exempt from inspection. Color fastness of dyeing on wool fabrics shall not be lower than that specified in Table 2. Table 2 (Xenon arc) 1/1 standard dyeing depth is equivalent to 0.5% (owf). 4 Sampling Color fastness Perspiration resistance Approximate~slight Hot pressing resistance 180℃ Friction resistance 4.1 Sampling is done in batches. The manufacturer takes the products that are mixed evenly at one time as a batch. The number of sampling barrels for each batch shall not be less than VN/2 (N is the number of barrels for each batch of products), and the number of small batch sampling shall not be less than 3 barrels. The packaging of the sampled products must be intact. When sampling, do not allow foreign impurities to fall into the product. Use a probe to sample from the upper, middle and lower parts of the barrel. The total amount of sampled products shall not be less than 200g. After the sampled products are fully mixed, they are divided into two clean and dry brown ground-mouth bottles, and labels are attached, indicating: manufacturer name, product name, batch number, sampling date, location and name of the sampler. One bottle is for inspection, and the other bottle is sealed with paraffin for future reference. 4.2 If one of the indicators in the test results does not meet the requirements of this standard, samples should be taken from twice the amount of packaging for re-testing. If even one indicator does not meet the requirements of this standard, the entire batch of products shall be considered as unqualified. 5 Test method 5.1 Determination of appearance Visual assessment shall be adopted. 5.2 Determination of dyeing color and intensity 5.2.1 General conditions shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB2374. 2 W.bzsoso.cOmHG/T2749—1996 5.2.2 The dyeing depth is 0.5%; 4g wool (or pure wool fabric) is used for dyeing; the bath ratio is 1:50. 5.2.3 The dye solution is prepared according to the strong acid dyeing method in GB/T2378, and the dye bath is prepared in five 300mL dye vats according to the provisions of Table 3: Table 3 Dye bath preparation Dye vat number No. 0.5g/500mL standard sample solution 0.5g/500mL sample solution 100g/L anhydrous sodium sulfate solution 1% sulfuric acid solution Add water to total volume 5.2.4 Dyeing operation shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T23785.2.5 Evaluation of color light and intensity Perform according to the relevant provisions of GB2374. 5.3 Determination of water-insoluble impurities Perform according to the provisions of GB/T2381. 5.4 Determination of moisture content Perform according to the provisions of Chapter 2 of GB/T2386. 5.5 Determination of fineness Perform according to the provisions of GB/T2383. 5.6 Determination of color fastness of dyeing on wool fabrics The determination of color fastness to rubbing shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB3920. 3 The determination of color fastness to washing shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB3921, using the formulation of test solution 1 and the conditions of method 2.
