This standard is based on the requirements of the State Bureau of Technical Supervision to clean up and rectify national standards. The original national standard GB6870-1986 "Saws" was changed to an industry standard (this standard was issued by the State Light Industry Bureau [1999] No. 112 document and converted to QB/T3856—1999, the content is the same as before).
This standard adds product types and related data. This standard is proposed by the General Business Department of the China-Kuang Light Industry Federation. 3.1Type
The types of hand saws are divided into ordinary type (indicated by P) and folding type (indicated by Z) according to their structure. Moreover, each type of hand saw is divided into linear type (indicated by 1) and arc type (indicated by 2) according to its blade line, as shown in Figures 1 and 2.3.2Basic dimensions

The hardness test of hand saw blade should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T230 and tested at any part of the saw body. 5.4 Sharpness test
The sharpness test of hand saw should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Table 2. After the test, the saw teeth should not have mechanical damage or deformation. Table 2
