This standard specifies the relevant interchangeable dimensions of the slide bases for modular machine tools. 2 Nominal dimensions and names
The nominal dimensions are specified to be expressed in terms of the saddle width of the corresponding slide. The following six nominal dimensions are used:
250, 320, 400, 500, 630 and 800 mm. The names are specified to be called by the nominal dimensions.
