Tire Water Pressure Test Method
1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the equipment, method, speed, calculation formula and test report for tire water pressure test. IIG2186-91
This standard applies to the water pressure test of passenger car tires, truck tires, agricultural tires, animal-drawn vehicle tires, engineering machinery tires and industrial vehicle tires.
2 Referenced Standards
GB 2883 Specification series for industrial machinery wheels GB3372 Rims for tractors and agricultural and forestry machinery GB3373 Rims for tractors and agricultural and forestry machinery GB3487 Specification series for automobile rims
GB12939 Specification series for industrial vehicle rims
ZBT64004 Types and specifications of rims for tractors and agricultural and forestry machinery HG2177 Appearance quality of bias tires
3 Test apparatus
This test may use a hydraulic pump or a motorized hydraulic pump or an accumulator to provide a pressurized water source for the tire in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 of this standard. Use a pressure-resistant pipe with an inner diameter of not less than 6mnl and a length of not more than 10m to lead the water source to the connection with the tire valve, and use a pressure gauge to measure the water pressure in the pipe. 3.1 The selection of pressure instruments should ensure that the relative error value of the pressure at the end of the test is not greater than ±3%. The pressure instrument should have a certificate of inspection. The pressure instrument in use should be inspected and calibrated regularly. 3.2 The fluctuation of the pressure instrument indication value caused by the pulsation of water pressure in the pipeline shall not exceed 7% of the measured value of the pipeline water pressure under normal conditions. 3.3 The test wheel should be a standard wheel specially used for water pressure test and corresponding to the test tire. The shape and size of the rim wheel should comply with the provisions of GB2883, GB3372, GB3373, GB3487, GB12939 and ZBT64004, and can withstand the test pressure.
4 Test method
4.1 Test conditions
4.1.1 The tire water pressure test should be carried out in a natural environment with humidity above 5°C. 4.1.2 Use full water as the test medium. The water temperature of the water pressure test should be 5-40°C. 4.1.3 The tire should be parked for more than 24 hours under the temperature conditions specified in 4.1.1 before the test. Tubeless tires are allowed to be equipped with inner tubes for testing. 4.2 Test steps
Install the qualified tires that meet the requirements of HG2177 on the rims specified in Section 3 of this standard, remove the valve core, connect the tire valve to the water source, and remove the air in the tire and pipeline. Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on December 23, 1991 and implemented on May 1, 1992
HG 2186—91
First fill the tire with water, then use the device specified in Chapter 3 of this standard to slowly increase the tire water pressure (the pressure increase rate shall not exceed 300kPa/min). When the water pressure in the pipeline reaches the value of the corresponding air pressure of the tire under maximum load, stop increasing the pressure for 3 minutes, check whether the tire and rim are in good contact, and whether there is any leakage in the water pipeline. After checking that they are normal, all personnel will withdraw to the safe area (or cover the tire with a safety cover. Under the condition of ensuring safety, continue to increase the tire internal pressure at the rate specified in Chapter 5 of this standard until the tire bursts: Record the pressure measurement value when the tire bursts. 4.3 Test failure
If the test pressure does not reach three times the corresponding air pressure of the maximum load of the tire due to test reasons, it is allowed to repeat the test with the original sample (but the test shall not be repeated more than twice). Otherwise, another sample should be taken for retest. 5 Pressure increase speed
The pressure increase speed refers to the pressure in 1 minute (kPa). The value (kPa/min): 5.1 Minimum pressure increase speed www.bzxz.net
5.1.1 When the test end pressure is greater than or equal to 2500 kPa, it is 60 kPa/min. 5.1.2 Test The maximum lifting speed is 80 kPa/min for the end pressure higher than 2500 kPa. 5.2.1 The end pressure of the test is 150 kPa/min for the end pressure lower than or equal to 2500 kPa. 5.2.2 The end pressure of the test is 200 kPa/min for the end pressure higher than 2500 kPa. Calculation formula: Read the value indicated by the pressure meter as the pressure measurement value, and calculate the tire safety multiple as follows: Where: K—tire safety multiple; When the tire bursts, the pipeline The measured value of pressure, kPa; p
S--corresponding air pressure of the maximum negative tire, kPa. If there is single or double tire pressure, the single tire pressure shall be used for calculation. 7 Test report
The test report shall include the following contents:
Tire brand, factory name, structure, specification, level, frame material and production number, rim specification.
Test conditions and test date,
Abnormal conditions during the test,
Test results: including bursting pressure, safety multiple and damaged parts, etc. Additional remarks:
