This standard was proposed by the Policy and Regulations Department of the former State Bureau of Petroleum and Chemical Industry. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Carbon Black Sub-Technical Committee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Rubber and Rubber Products. The main drafting unit of this standard is the Carbon Black Industrial Research and Design Institute of China Rubber Group. The main drafters of this standard are Deng Yi, Xue Lei and Deng Biyun. This standard was first published in October 1992. ISO Foreword
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of formulating international standards is usually carried out by ISO technical committees. Any member group interested in a project established by a technical committee has the right to participate in the committee. Governmental and non-governmental national organizations associated with ISO have the right to participate in the committee. International organizations may also take part in this work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft international standards adopted by the technical committee are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an international standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies voting.
International Standard ISO5794-2 was prepared by ISO/TC45, Technical Committee Rubber and Rubber Products, SC3 Technical Committee Raw Materials for Rubber Industry (including Latex).
ISO5794 is titled: "Rubber Compounding Ingredients-Precipitated Hydrated Silica", which consists of the following parts: - Part 1: Non-rubber Tests;
- Part 2: Identification Methods in Styrene-Butadiene Rubber. Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China

5 Steps
5.1 Equipment and Steps
The equipment and steps for preparation, mixing and vulcanization are consistent with GB/T6038. 5.2 Open Mill Mixing Steps
The standard laboratory open mill mixing rubber compound is 4 times the test formula, in g. Through appropriate cooling, the surface temperature of the mixer is (30±5)℃ at the beginning. The difference between the mass of the mixed rubber compound and the total amount of raw materials shall not exceed +0.5%~1.5%. 5.2.1 Adjust the roller gap to 0.5~0.8mm, do not wrap the roller to break the material, then adjust the roller gap to 1.1mm, wrap the rubber on the front roller of the mixer, and make 3/4 cuts alternately from both ends of the roller every 30s for 2min. 5.2.2 Add sulfur slowly and evenly. When the sulfur is mixed, make a 3/4 cut at each end for 2 minutes. 5.2.3 Add zinc oxide, and then add about 10% of precipitated hydrated silicon difluoride. Do not cut at this stage for 4 minutes. 5.2.4
Add stearic acid, and then add about 10% of precipitated hydrated silicon dioxide. Do not cut for 4 minutes. Slowly add the remaining precipitated hydrated silicon dioxide, adjust the roller distance so that the stacked glue diameter is about 15mm, do not cut during the mixing of silicon dioxide, and add the material that falls on the plate. When all the silicon dioxide is mixed, cut once at each end for 10 minutes. 5.2.6 Add accelerator and make three 3/4 cuts from each end for 4 minutes. 5.2.7
Cut the rubber from the open mill, adjust the roller distance to 0.8mm, and pass the rubber vertically three times for 2 minutes. Let the rubber run on the open mill with appropriate roller distance. At this time, the diameter of the accumulated rubber is about 15mm, and the time is 5 minutes. Press the rubber into a film about 5mm thick and check the quality of the rubber. 5.2.9
The total operation time above is 33 minutes.
5.2.10 The rubber is left for 18~24 hours.
5.2.11 Re-refine according to the following steps.
When the roller surface temperature is (30±5)℃, set the roller distance to 0.2mm, and pass the rubber between the rollers once (without wrapping the rollers). Adjust the roller distance to about 3mm, wrap the rubber on the front roller of the open mill, and keep the accumulated rubber in a good rolling state for 5 minutes without cutting the knife. Adjust the roller distance so that the film thickness is at least 6mm, and fold the rubber compound through the open mill four times. 5.2.12 Adjust the open mill to press the mixed rubber compound into a film with a thickness of about 2.2mm to prepare a bell-shaped specimen for determining the vulcanization characteristics (or press it into another appropriate thickness to prepare a circular specimen). 5
Before vulcanization, let the rubber compound rest for 2~48h.
5.3 Test of unvulcanized rubber compound
HG/T2404—2001
The determination of Mooney viscosity shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T1232.1. The determination of the vulcanization speed and scorch time of the rubber compound shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T1233. 6 Determination of the vulcanization characteristics of the rubber compound

Amplitude: 3° (1° can also be used if necessary) Selectivity: at least 75% of the full scale of Mh Test temperature: 160℃
Preheating time: 2min

The standard laboratory mixing volume is four times the mass of the test formula, in g. Appropriate cooling is performed so that the initial temperature of the roller surface is (25±5)℃ at the beginning. The difference between the mass of the rubber compound after mixing and the total mass of the raw materials before mixing does not exceed the range of 0.5%~-1.5%. A2.2.1 Adjust the roller distance to 0.5~0.8mm, do not wrap the material once, adjust the roller distance to 1mm, and wrap the rubber on the roller. Add zinc oxide and stearic acid, and alternate 3/4 cuts from both ends of the roller every 30s for 3min. 7

A2.2.2 Add 1/3 of precipitated hydrated silica, and make two 3/4 cuts at each end for 5min. A2.2.3 Add 1/3 of precipitated hydrated silica, and make two 3/4 cuts at each end for 5 minutes. A2.2.4 Add 1/3 of precipitated hydrated silica and activator, and make two 3/4 cuts at each end for 6 minutes. A2.2.5 Slowly add sulfur and accelerator evenly to cover the rubber. When all materials are mixed, make two alternating 3/4 cuts for 3 minutes.
A2.2.6 Cut the rubber sheet from the rubber mixer, adjust the roller distance to between 0.8 and 1 mm, and pass the roller three times without covering the roller for 1.5 minutes. A2.2.7 Adjust the roller distance to 3~3.5 mm, and pass the roller three times without covering the roller for 1.5 minutes. The total operation time for the above operation is 25 minutes.
A2.2.8 Press the mixed rubber into a 2.2 mm film for tensile performance test after vulcanization. Before vulcanization, place the rubber material for 18 to 24 hours. If possible, place it under the standard temperature and humidity conditions required by GB/T2941. A3 Vulcanization and vulcanization characteristics test
A3.1 Vulcanization conditions
(160±1)℃×15min.
A3.2 Stress-strain characteristics test
Before the test, place the vulcanized rubber sheet at (23±3)℃ for 16 to 72 hours. The tensile properties [300% elongation, 500% elongation (if the elongation at break exceeds 600%), tensile strength and elongation at break] shall be determined in accordance with GB/T528.

Test formula and determination of vulcanization properties
The following are the test formula, operation steps and determination of vulcanization properties in ISO5794-2:1998 "Precipitated hydrated silica in rubber compounding ingredients Part 2: Identification method in styrene-butadiene rubber". A1 Test formula
Depending on the type of precipitated hydrated silica, this standard gives two standard formulas. International or national standard chemical reagents should be used as much as possible. The chemical properties of the materials used should comply with the provisions of Table A1. Table A1
