Mechanical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Mica Tape Organic Silicone Glass Mica Tape Subject Content and Scope of Application JB6488.2—92 This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of organic silicon glass mica tape for electrical insulation. This standard applies to mica tape with flaked mica or mica paper as the base material, organic silicone adhesive paint as the adhesive, and electrical alkali-free glass cloth as the reinforcement material on both sides. 2 Reference Standards GB5019 GB5020 3 Product Classification Electrical Insulation Mica Products Electrical Insulation Mica Products Test Methods Definition and General Requirements This standard divides the models according to the structure of the product. The product models are shown in Table 1. Table 1 Product model 5450-1 4 Technical requirements 4.1 Appearance Mica tape is not allowed to have foreign impurities. Mica substrate Residual mica Mica paper Scope of application Applicable to motor and electrical insulation with a working temperature of 180℃. The mica tape can be freely wound off the reel. The adhesive should be evenly distributed, and no adhesion, delamination, peeling of mica or breaking of mica paper, drawing of glass cloth and loosening of tube core are allowed. The wrinkles of the reinforcement material are not allowed to exceed the allowable deviation of the individual thickness value. 4.2 Size 4.2.1 Thickness See Table 2 for the nominal thickness and allowable deviation. bZxz.net 614 approved by the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China on August 6, 1992 1993-01-01 Product model 5450-1 4.2.2Width Nominal thickness JB6488.2-92 Deviation between median and nominal thickness The width of the mica tape reel is: (15±1); (20±1); (25±2); (30±2); (35±2) mm. The width and deviation of the mica tape roll can be agreed upon by the supplier and the buyer. 4.2.3Edge curvature The edge curvature of 5450 shall not exceed 2mm. The edge curvature of 5450-1 shall not exceed 1mm. 4.2.4 Length Maximum deviation of individual values from nominal thickness The length of mica tape is expressed by the diameter of its roll and reel. The diameter of mica tape roll and reel is (95±5) mm or (115±5) mm, with no more than 2 joints and the shortest length is not less than 5m. 4.3 Composition The composition of mica tape is shown in Table 3. Product model 5450-1 4.4 Performance requirements Mica content The performance of mica tape shall comply with the requirements of Table 4. Table 4 Indicator name Dielectric strength\ Tensile strength Softness Adhesive content N/10mm Note: 1) In the dielectric strength test, the measured breakdown voltage value is not allowed to exceed one in the range of (0.6~0.9) kV. 5 Test method 5.1 Appearance Evaluate by visual observation. 5.2 Thickness Volatile content Agreed by both parties According to the provisions of Chapter 1 of GB5019. 5.3 Width JB6488.292 Measure at least three places with a ruler with a scale of 0.5 mm and report the average value. 5.4 Edge curvature According to the provisions of Chapter 13 of GB5019. 5.5 Length Measure the diameter of the end surface of the mica tape roll and disk with a ruler with a scale of 0.5mm. 5.6 Composition According to the provisions of Chapter 3 of GB5019. 5.7 Dielectric strength According to the provisions of Chapter 16 of GB5019. 5.8 Tensile strength According to the provisions of Chapter 5 of GB5019. 5.9 Softness According to the provisions of Chapter 12 of GB5019. 6 Inspection rules 6.1 Mica tapes produced by no more than three shifts with the same raw materials and processes are considered a batch, and each batch must be subjected to factory testing. The factory test items are the 1st and 3rd items in Table 4 of Article 4.1, Article 4.2 and Article 4.4 of this standard. 6.2 Take samples from a batch of not less than 5% of the total number of packaging tubes (bags), at least 3 tubes (bags), take one plate from each tube (bag), and check according to Articles 4.1 and 4.2 of this standard; take one plate from the same batch and check according to Articles 4.3 and 4.4 of this standard. 6.3 Others shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 2 of GB5020. 7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage 7.1 Mica tape shall be rolled on a tube core with an inner diameter of (40±2) mm. 7.2 The storage period of mica tape is 6 months from the date of leaving the factory. 7.3 Others shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 3 of GB5020.
