Introduction to standards:

JB/T 1205—2001 This standard is a revision of JB/T 1205—1980 "Technical Conditions for Tower Trays". The technical requirements were increased during the revision. This standard applies to steel sieve trays, F1 type float valve trays, fixed tongue trays and round bubble cap trays for towers in the petroleum and chemical industries. This standard was first issued in 1973 and revised for the first time in 1980. This is the second revision. This standard is a revision of B/T1205-1980 "Technical requirements for trays". Compared with JB/T1205-1980, the main technical contents of this standard have been changed as follows: 3.9 adds the relevant technical requirements for floating tongue-shaped tray plates; -5.3 adds the positioning requirements for support beam assembly; -5.5 adds the positioning requirements for tray plate assembly; -3.13 and 5.6 expand the nominal diameter of the tower applicable to this standard to 12000mm, and increase 1000Qmm1600-4000

3.14 After the main beam and supporting beam are manufactured, the local flatness tolerance of the upper surface within a length of 300mm is 1mm, and the flatness tolerance within the entire upper surface is 1/1000 of the length of the beam, and shall not exceed 7mm. 3.15 The spacing tolerance between two adjacent layers of support rings is ±3mm. The spacing tolerance between any two layers of support rings is ±10mm within 20 layers. 3.16 The tolerances of other positions of the tower plate components shall be in accordance with the provisions of Figure 4. 4

4 Acceptance and packaging
Distance between one and two support plates
4.1 After all the parts and components of the detachable tower tray are inspected and qualified, in order to check the size and verify the interchangeability, the tower trays of different types and sizes should be randomly selected according to the quantity specified on the drawing, and tested in the manufacturing unit. Only after the test assembly is qualified can they be packaged and transported. 4.2 The packaging of tower tray parts and components shall comply with the provisions of JB2536 to ensure that they will not be deformed or damaged during transportation and storage. Carbon steel parts and components shall have anti-rust measures.
4.3 The number of tower tray fasteners shall be 2% more by the manufacturing unit, and each shall not be less than 10 pieces; the float valve shall be 1% more, and not less than 5 pieces; the round bubble cap shall be 1% more, and not less than 2 pieces. If the user requires a quantity exceeding the above, it should be specified in the order contract. 5 Installation and testing
5.1 Before installing the tower plate, the surface oil, rust, etc. should be removed. 5.2 Positioning of the main beam assembly: When there is only one main beam, the center line of the main beam should pass through the center line of the cross section of the tower body at that location, and the deviation shall not exceed 2mm; when there are two main beams, the deviation between the center line of the main beam and the center of the tower body at that cross section shall not exceed 2mm. 5.3 Positioning of the support beam assembly: After the support beam is assembled, the deviation of the center line distance between two adjacent support beams shall not exceed 2mm, and the deviation of the center line distance between two arbitrary support beams shall not exceed 5mm.
5.4 After the main beam and support beam are installed, their upper surface and the upper surface of the support ring should be on the same horizontal plane, and the horizontality tolerance of this plane should be the same as the value specified in Table 4.
5.5After the installation of the tower plate, the distance tolerance between two adjacent tower plates on the same layer is ±3mm, and the distance tolerance between any two tower plates is ±6mm5.6
After the installation of the tower plate, the tolerance of the horizontality of the tower plate surface on the entire surface shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 5. Table 5

After the overflow weir is installed, the tolerance of the horizontality of the weir top shall be in accordance with Table 6, and the tolerance of the weir height shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 7. Table 6

When installing the round bubble cap, the height deviation from the root of each bubble cap to the upper surface of the tower plate shall not exceed ±1.5mmAfter the round bubble cap is installed, water filling leak test and bubbling test shall be carried out. mm
a) When the tower plate is filled with water for leak test, all tear holes shall be blocked. After filling with water, the water level shall not drop by more than 5mm within 10 minutes to be qualified. After passing the test, the tear holes shall be pierced.
b) The requirements of the bubbling test are as follows: water is continuously injected into the receiving tray, and compressed air is introduced into the lower part of the tray. The wind pressure should be below 980Pa, and the air volume should not be too large. All tooth gaps are required to bubble evenly, and the bubble cap should not vibrate. 6
