This standard specifies the technical requirements for the noise of gas turbine power plants, as well as the methods for measuring and processing the noise of the plants and the contents of the measurement report. This standard applies to indoor and outdoor gas turbine power plants, as well as to combined cycle power plants or gas turbine generator sets therein. This standard does not apply to gas turbines used in transportation vehicles. GB 14098-1993 Gas Turbine Noise GB14098-1993 Standard Download Decompression Password: www.bzxz.net

National Standard of the People's Republic of China Gas turbine Gas turbine-Noise 1 Subject content and scope of application GB14098-93 This standard specifies the technical requirements for the noise of gas turbine power plants, and also specifies the methods for measuring and processing the noise of the plant and the contents of the measurement report. This standard applies to indoor and outdoor gas turbine power plants, and also to combined cycle power plants or gas turbine generator sets therein. This standard does not apply to gas turbines used for transportation vehicles. In addition, this standard uses the following terms and symbols: 3.1 Maximum size of the device, L The maximum size of the entire device in the horizontal or vertical direction. 3.2 Equivalent sound level during the day and night The equivalent sound level during 24 hours, which includes the 10dB weighting added to the night noise. Noise technical requirements This chapter describes the standard method for specifying the noise level limit values and other noise technical requirements of the device (or unit). When the user proposes the device noise technical requirements or the user and the manufacturer agree on the noise technical terms in the contract, the method described in this chapter should be used. Note: The term "manufacturer" used in this standard refers to the gas turbine manufacturer or the appropriate responsible contractor. 4.1 Evaluation quantity For steady-state noise, the A [weighted] sound level is specified as the evaluation quantity. For non-steady-state noise, the equivalent [continuous A] sound level is specified as the evaluation quantity. If the user's technical documents require it, the C [weighted] sound level or the nine-octave band sound pressure level (center frequency 31.5~8000Hz) shall be used to evaluate the environmental noise. 4.2 Occupational noise requirements GB14098-93 In order to protect the health of operators and prevent hearing loss, the occupational noise exposure of employees must be controlled. Therefore, the user's technical documents should specify the maximum noise level limit dB(A) radiated by the unit (or device) at one or more measuring points 1m away from the main surface of the gas turbine, auxiliary equipment, driven equipment or its outer box, or the average noise level limit dB(A) radiated by the unit obtained from the actual measured values of all measuring points (for a single unit, the maximum value or average value is specified, and for multiple units or combined cycle devices, the maximum value is specified). Appendix A describes the method for determining the allowable noise level at 1m from the unit or its outer compartment. In special cases, the allowable noise level shall be agreed upon by the user and the manufacturer. 4.3 Environmental noise requirements In order to provide a peaceful and comfortable environment for people living or working in the vicinity of the device, the pollution of the device noise to the surrounding environment must be controlled. Therefore, the user's technical documents should specify the maximum noise level limit value radiated by the device at one or more measuring points 120m from the nearest point around the device (the connecting line around the device) or the average noise level limit value radiated by the device obtained from the actual measured values of all measuring points. Appendix B describes the method for determining the allowable noise level dB(A) at 120m from the periphery of the device. For devices working in special areas, the allowable noise level shall be agreed upon by the user and the manufacturer. For large devices, the specified distance between the environmental noise measuring point and the nearest point around the device and the noise level limit value shall also be agreed upon separately by the contracting parties. Usually, the specified distance d should be determined according to the maximum size of the device (including the height of the smokestack). When L≤60m, d=120m, wwW.bzxz.Net When 60m Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
