This standard specifies the shape and basic dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of worm grinding wheels (hereinafter referred to as grinding wheels).
This standard applies to ceramic bond grinding wheels specially used for worm grinding wheels and gear grinders. 2 Referenced Standards

3 Shape and basic dimensions
3.1 The cross-sectional shape of the grinding wheel is shown in Figure 1.

The geometric tolerances of grinding wheels shall comply with the following provisions. 4.2
4.2.1 Cylindricity tolerance shall not exceed 0.2mm. 4.2.2 Parallelism tolerance shall not exceed 0.1mm. 4.2.3 Coaxiality tolerance shall not exceed 0.2mm. 4.3 The grinding wheel shall not have cracks, black core, or mute sound. 4.4 The size of the defect on the edge of the grinding wheel is shown in Table 3.

4.5 The static imbalance value of the grinding wheel shall be calculated as 0.875 times as specified in GB2492. The maximum working speed of the grinding wheel is 35m/s and 45m/s. 4.6

4.7 The hardness value of each measuring point of the grinding wheel shall comply with the allowable range specified in GB2490, and the hardness uniformity shall not exceed the grade difference value of the marked hardness grade.
5 Test methods
The test methods for appearance defects, cracks, black core, muteness and edge defects of grinding wheels shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB 9202. The test methods for limit deviations and geometric tolerances of basic dimensions shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB9202. 5.2
The static balance test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB2492. 5.3
The grinding wheel rotation test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB2493. 5.4
The hardness test method shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB2490. 5.6 For the inspection of grinding wheel tooth profile, see Appendix A (Appendix to the standard). 499
6 Inspection rules

6.1 Products shall be shipped only after passing the inspection and shall be accompanied by a qualified mark. 6.2 Table 4 gives the full inspection and random inspection items, defect classification of random inspection, defect items, inspection level and AQL value. The inspection items listed in Table 4 shall be inspected using the "one normal inspection sampling plan" listed in Table 3 of GB2828.\ Class B defects are counted by piece, and Class C defects are counted by defect item.
