Pads for Rails with Weight of 38-50 kg per Meter
Technical Conditions
This standard applies to pads for rails with weight of 38-50 kg per meter. I. Technical Conditions
1. The chemical composition (melting analysis) of the steel shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Table 1
Not less than
Note: In order to improve the corrosion resistance of the pad, it is allowed to use steel with a copper content of 0.20-0.40%.
GB 2826-81
Not more than
2. The chemical composition deviation of the finished product shall comply with the provisions of GB700-79 "Technical Conditions for Ordinary Carbon Structural Steel", and the phosphorus content shall not exceed 25% as specified in Table 1.
3. The pad shall not break or crack when subjected to the cold bending test shield at an angle of 45° (internal angle 135°). Note: The allowable deviation of the cold bending test angle is ±1°. 4. The allowable deviation of the size of the pad shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. Table 2
Length (along the axis of the rail)
Width (along the axis of the sleeper)
Distance between the lower inner side of the two shoulders
Slope of the rail base (sum of the positive and negative deviations of the thickness at both ends) Center distance of the small shoulder spike hole (along the axis of the rail) Length and width of the spike hole (punch direction) (die direction)
Width of two shoulders
Distance from the edge of the small shoulder spike hole to the shear edge
Inclination of the large shoulder to the plumb line

5. There shall be no cracks or inclusions on the surface of the pad. If there are defects such as bubbles, hairlines, scars and folds, the depth shall not exceed 1 mm. There shall be no burrs, small bumps or other protrusions on the contact surface between the pad and the rail bottom. 6. The contact surface between the pad and the rail bottom shall be flat and shall not be concave, but a convex surface of no more than 0.5 mm is allowed. The sleeper surface of the pad shall be flat and shall not have a concave surface or convex surface greater than 1 mm. 7. The end surface of the pad shall be perpendicular to the center line, and the shear slope shall not be greater than 25 mm. There shall be no delamination or shrinkage holes visible to the naked eye on the end surface of the pad.
8. Defects on the surface of the pad are allowed to be removed, and the dimensional deviation after removal shall be within the allowable deviation. II. Acceptance Rules
9. The acceptance and quality inspection of the pad shall be carried out by the supplier's technical supervision department. 10. The pads shall be accepted according to the same brand, the same furnace number or the same casting method. The pads delivered in batches can be composed of the same type, different furnace numbers or different casting methods. However, each batch shall not exceed 6,000 pieces. 11: The surface of the pads shall be checked piece by piece with the naked eye, and the size can be checked randomly during the production process, but the finished product must be qualified. 12. The cold bending test shall be carried out by taking a sample according to the furnace number or different casting method or by batch (converter steel can be batched according to GB70079). If the initial inspection fails, two more samples can be taken for re-inspection. If one piece fails in the re-inspection, the supplier may perform heat treatment and then conduct cold bending test. If the initial inspection and re-inspection fail again, the batch of pads shall not be delivered. III. Test methodWww.bzxZ.net
13. Chemical analysis test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB222-63 "Method for taking samples for chemical analysis of steel" and YB35 (1-28)-78 "Chemical analysis method of steel". 14. When conducting the cold bending test, the two supporting points should be on one side of the sleeper surface of the pad, and just below the inner side of the two shoulders of the pad. Then, a 10 mm radius rod is placed on the center line between the two shoulders of the pad to bend the pad. It is allowed to file the shear edge of the pad before the test. IV. Packaging, marking and certificate
15. A clear and raised mark of the factory name, variety and year of manufacture should be rolled out on the top surface of the outer side of each pad. 16. The pads should be packaged in bundles, and the furnace number or batch number should be printed on each bundle. 17. The contents to be noted on the certificate shall comply with the provisions of GB2101-80 "General Provisions for Acceptance, Packaging, Marking and Quality Certificate of Steel Sections".
Note: From the date of implementation of this standard, the original departmental standard YB353-63 will be invalid. 810
