Some standard content:
GB16916.21—1997
This standard is equivalent to IEC1008-2-1:1990 "Residual current operated circuit breakers (RCCB) for household and similar purposes without overcurrent protection Part 2-1: Applicability of general rules to RCCH whose operating function is independent of line voltage". By adopting the IEC standard, the standards of residual current operated circuit breakers for household and similar purposes without overcurrent protection in my country are consistent with international standards to meet the needs of international trade, technical and economic exchanges. This standard must be used together with GB16916.1 "Residual current operated circuit breakers (RCCB) for household and similar purposes without overcurrent protection Part 1 t General rules". This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Machinery Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Low Voltage Electrical Appliances. This standard was drafted by the Shanghai Electric Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. The main drafters of this standard are Zhou Jigang, Sun Zhu, Zhou Hailin and Lv Yinghua. GB16916.21—1997
IEC Foreword
1) The final resolutions or agreements on technical issues prepared by the technical committees in which all national committees with special concerns participate express the international consensus on the issues involved as much as possible. 2) These resolutions and agreements are provided for international use in the form of recommendations and are recognized by national committees in this sense. 3) In order to promote international unification, IEC hopes that all national committees, where domestic conditions permit, should adopt IEC recommendations as their national standards. Any discrepancies between IEC recommendations and corresponding national standards shall be resolved in accordance with the relevant provisions of the IEC. This standard was prepared by IEC Technical Committee 23, Electrical Accessories, Subcommittee 23E, Household Circuit Breakers and Similar Apparatus.
