In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Construction's Construction Standards [1998] No. 94 "Notice on the 1998 National Standard Formulation and Revision Plan for Engineering Construction", the standards group revised the original national standard "Test Methods for Mechanical Properties of Ordinary Concrete" (GBJ81-85) on the basis of extensive research, careful summary of practical experience, reference to advanced foreign standards, and extensive solicitation of opinions.
The main technical contents of this standard are: 1 General; 2 Sampling; 3 Size, shape and tolerance of test specimens; 4 Test equipment; 5 Preparation and maintenance of test specimens; 6 Compressive strength test; 7 Axial compressive strength test; 8 Static compressive elastic modulus test; 9 Splitting tensile strength test: 10 Flexural strength test: Appendix A Preparation and maintenance of cylindrical specimens, Appendix B Compressive strength test of cylindrical specimens, Appendix C Static compressive elastic modulus test of cylindrical specimens, Appendix D Splitting tensile strength test of cylindrical specimens; Explanation of words and terms used in this standard.
The main contents of the revision are: 1. In order to align with international standards, the preparation of cylindrical specimens and the test methods of their various mechanical properties are added to the appendix of the new standard; 2. Higher requirements are put forward for the temperature and humidity of the standard curing room in the original standard, from the original temperature of 20 ± 3 ° C and humidity of more than 90% to the temperature of 20 ± 2 ° C and humidity of more than 95% in accordance with the IS0 test method; 3. After a series of tests, the test of the elastic modulus of concrete under static compression is equivalent to the ISO standard test method. 4. For the mechanical properties of high-strength concrete with a concrete strength grade of not less than C60, a more scientific and reasonable test method is proposed; 5. Standardization requirements are put forward for test instruments and equipment, and some measurement units are corrected in physical concepts; 6. The content that the test report should include is proposed, etc. The main editor of this standard: China Academy of Building Research (Address: No. 30, North Third Ring Road East, Beijing, Postal Code 100013, E-mail: igbzcabr@vip, sina.com) Participating organizations of this standard: Tsinghua University
